Well, the Japanese like what they like, I guess.And boy, I haven't seen this amount of serif fonts in a BEMANI game since REFLEC BEAT Reflesia of Eternity. Interesting aesthetic change. Also, interesting that they changed the box layout for where they display the title and artist in-game. Guess there are some people who noticed that?
Anyways, I'm looking forward to see what A20 has to come in the future, and I'm curious what the new songs sound like once the game comes out tomorrow.

Well, once again I’m pretty much the only HinaBitter fan on ZIv.
Anyways, I’m hyped for this. The interface looks sleek and the songs previewed sound solid. Can’t wait to eventually listen to all the songs later.

They didn't even give any details about the courses or the "global league" if I'm correct. The two most major changes that are coming to the game.

The judgement/combo fonts look like 2013/2014 for some reason.

I love the new little UI designs, although some designs are literally ripped from Ace and given an gold color scheme but at the same time it'll take me a while to get used to the emphasis on gold (like in the in-game UI) and the weird usage of that military-esque font (though it does feel nostalgic like 3rd mix feels)
Remember MAX2/EXTREME were literally reskins of MAX (Party Collection also an reskinned of EXTREME) and those games are highly lauded, and X was essentially SN with an urban theme and new announcer (graphics in the arcade version were improved but most of the footage we see comes from the more graphically inferior cs release)
I do wish for an new announcer given it's been over 11 years since his debut but ig everyone in Japan loves them and they're cheap to reuse, the crowd noises are more annoying imo and sound highly fake, please replace those Konami
the graphics for dancers/stages themselves feel outdated as well and especially considering that the characters got new renders/artwork as seen when selecting singles/doubles/couple so they should've been changed as well in-game
the songlist however, is looking hella promising and moreso than last game's which was pretty good

Not gonna lie: This beat is And Neverland sounds really cool (especially Neverland, glad to see some Future bass in DDR). Also surprised about HYNBM remix, didn't expect a mix revival instead of a revival
I can't wait to see the full list, And i hope this "20th Anniversary model exclusive songs" are just temporarily

EDIT: also the DDR x announcer is NOT Michael la mode it was ozomati also Michael la mode was stillwind yes but only image-wise, DJ YOSHITAKA was the voice

Hinabitter is quite popular, and even within the western bemani communities, so there's plenty of fans of Hinabita/Coconatsu (myself included).
