DLC will always be downloadable, very rarely DLC would ever be put onto a disc.
I don't wanna talk to a scientist
Y'all mothermothers lying, and getting me pissed
The sad thing about this is I was one of like 3 people in the DDR community who listened to them before they were memed out.

Excuse me but one question about achievement......Is there still a "trick master" achievement in xbox360 version?
It will drive me mad in ps3 version...

I'm pretty sure there is. I've been using the guide on ps3trophies.org to work on the 360 version, and it's been spot-on so far. Can't actually make sure of it yet though, since it's a secret achievement.

I hope none of the trophies involved the Move wand then...

Four of the trophies did involve the Playstation Move, but they're not marked as being hidden trophies, and I don't see any achievements for the Kinect or anything similar on the 360 version, so I guess they scrapped those achievements entirely.
APPEND: Yeah, the PS3 version has 55 trophies while the 360 version has 50 achievements, so they tossed the Move trophies entirely as well as something else I haven't identified yet.
APPEND 2: Oh my God, I can't get the achievements for getting a B and a C because the grading is too fucking generous. I finished A Geisha's Dream with 60 Greats and 19 Misses, and still got a AA.

You'd have to intentionally get a ton of goods to get those grades maybe.

Pretty much. "First C" wasn't bad because I just had to play limbo and keep my life bar in the red. "First B" was just stupid, though.

Well, those are definitely achievements when they're easier said than done. The grading system doesn't help in any way.
Naoki didn't have to approve all the suggestions the developer brought to them

Wasn't Naoki only in charge of the music?

No, NAOKI's old position was Sound Producer, but now he is the overall producer of DDR.

He's technically in charge of the whole DDR brand, but he has basically handed off the arcade side of things to dj TAKA and TAG and is focusing on DDR CS.

So apparently, Trick Lv.4 in Club Mode includes throwing Octo Mode at you mid-song.

I was wondering how long it would take for a course to employ multiple dance styles.

I got 'first B' on the first song I played... I hadn't adjusted the timing settings yet and wasn't used to reading those new, tiny judgement indicators so I didn't realize anything was wrong. Finished "Celebration" with well over 100 greats.

I have heard the preview of songs from Youtube and the licence songs sounds blah for me.
Why next DDR must handled by KONAMI USA first ?
Is it hard to find good licence like DDR japan before ?
My opinion , HP2 > HP1 > HP3 > HP4 (New Moves)
HP2 contain some nice covers and nice real artist.
I can say now Konami is so careless to make new DDR.
Just this DDR before HP2 released (When year 2009)
After X2 USA and HP3 released, DDR for PS3 and XBOX360 that will be released with Octo moves and HP3 songs suddenly cancelled.
After that, new songs chosen and based on HP4. New DDR for PS3 featured PS3 Moves .
Because based on HP4, DDR new Moves has same songs (except revivals) same difficulty ratings, same Single Mode only (No Double)
When it released, It has no subtitle for USAversion.
Maybe suddenly Konami realized " Whoah, we forgot the subtitle. Add the subtitle for PAL version."
And then the PAL version released with full subtitle and XBOX 360 version suddenly added too.
When i thinking again , this DDR project looks so careless and not directed very well.
Forgot the subtitle, not maximize the songlist based on console, etc.
Sorry, that just my opinion about this DDR .
I really disappointed with Konami USA that too hurry to make DDR without double-checked before released.
Maybe it should be next DDR handled by Konami Japan first. Or Konami Hawaii (Universe / Ultramix)

One line at a time.
It's not that it was handled by Konami of America. It's available in USA because people have more money on October-December. If they release DDR on March (JP release dates), people won't have money because they spent it on Dance Central, Just Dance, and other games. No more saved money for DDR.
Price. When songs are too famous (Tik Tok by Ke$ha instead of Animal) they cost more to license for DDR. They choose songs they think are danceable and are cheap. And some people can't understand japanese.
Because they sell the game as "exercse game." Not dancing game.
If you look at the screenshots, they have trouble programming the game. But they didn't say. They hired people who know how to program for PS3 later.
They want to keep gameplay fresh. DDR HP3 also introduced Balance Board mode.
Some games get fixed on PAL version. Digimon World 3 for PS had gameplay after credits on PAL. Luigi's Mansion on Gamecube was made harder on PAL because some gamers complained that game was too easy on Japan and American version.
Yeah, everyone is disappointed too. You see Rock Band/Guitar Hero have lots of DLC, FULL LENGTH (3-4 minutes) and original (not covers) songs on blu-ray and DDR PS3 only have 50 songs on blu-ray.

I just wanna say that I take DDR for what it is. You can't keep expecting what DDR "was", you have to take what DDR currently "is".
It "was" a japanese based game with American games being Americanized ports of Japanese games.
It "is" now a American game used as a family style recreational game.
People complain how the American games suck compared to Japanese ones. These people need a serious head check. While this may have been true at one point, just look at what we're getting now. We probably have had over double the amount of games and songs then the Japanese console games have got over the last 3 or 4 years. Konami clearly does care about the American audience. What people have to rememeber is Konami isn't looking solely into pleasing the hardcore DDR fans cause they are a miniscule portion of the buyers and they much focus on what can compete with games like Just Dance(yuck), and Dance Central(Dance Masters FTW).
Anyway, that's my 2 cents. I will be picking up this game for Xbox this Saturday and I'm very glad I am because this game was a very nice instalment.
