I have something very cool to show you all. I went to the Indiana State Fair on Sunday (this was my second trip). They have an airbrush t-shirt stand. I had a golf one on my first trip (since I'm a golfer). But then I came up with an idea. On my next trip, I printed out a DDR X3 logo and showed it to the same airbrush designer. When it was finished, this is how it came out:
FRONT

BACK

I was so very happy how it came out!
It looked just like the logo! As you know, the text isn't like the original (which was because it would cost a lot more) but I still like it! I was extremely impressed out well he designed the "X3" part. Everytime I wear this, I feel proud representing the game I love. I also wore it to school (had a lot of compliments
.)
I have a video about this but I figured I just take a picture instead. Well, what do you guys think?

That's the way to promote DDR X3.

Nice find. I do wonder how some people can get direct video recordings though. I could use some dancer display videos with the X2 costumes.

I noticed in the Game Database songlist that LOVE IS THE POWER-Re:born- was located in 2nd Mix mode. Is the song actually in 2nd Mix mode?

Not sure, I'll check.
APPEND: It's not available as far as I can tell, which is a bit odd to me.

It's not playable in 2ndMIX MODE. It's kind of part of that canon though since you play it by playing TRIP MACHINE EVOLUTION or PARANOiA Revolution on EXTRA STAGE.
Also, somewhat unrelated but TЁЯRA updated their Facebook with a new cover photo:
EVOLUTION to INNOVATION 2011-2013
Next year's project is INNOVATION perhaps?

So hey guys, I'm a little curious about something. Round 1 in Moreno Valley, CA has a DDR x3 vs 2nd Mix. Still unsure whether or not they're going to get E-Amusement for it. Without e-Amusement, what songs will the machine have access to? Will we have flowers or sumidagawa Karenka, and etcetera that aren't a part of the default song list?

All you get is the bare default songlist. That means, no Daily Special songs (SigSig, message, Shizuku, Ryouran Hit Chart, Tenjou no Hoshi), no Daily Star songs (TWINKLE HEART, Alstroemeria, FLOWER, Sumidagawa Karenka), Amalgamation as ES and UNBELIEVABLE (Sparky remix) as EES.

Whoa, there's a DDR X3 in the US?

We need proof. Make a video or take some pictures or something! (Unless they don't allow that for whatever reason.) I swear, this is great news to hear! It's only a matter of time before more will come in other states. (Hopefully in Indiana.)

Seeing as how I don't have a computer, I've no idea how to upload a photo of the machine from my iPad or my Droid phone. However, you can take my word that I actually work there as we are currently training for when the store is set to open. I've been updating the list of games for the location throughout the past week as I recall what games I saw there (since everything is still being put together and moved around).
Location is Round 1 Moreno Valley, CA at the Moreno Valley Mall.

A picture is already out there. Also, I hope Round1 is still in talks with Konami about getting e-Amusement, hopefully at a price adjusted for the fact that American arcade traffic and machine upgrade cycles can't possibly compete with Japan. (But then I'm left wondering where all the cash came from to buy a 3rd IIDX, etc.)

I might want to say that they used the revenue received from bowling, billiards, karaoke, etc because you guys all play the hell out of Technika and Beatmania so much that they took the figure of getting separate machines for this location in expectations that you guys will bring them a good amount for their purchase.
Also, the picture you saw might have been the one that I possibly took lol

I just hope Round1 spreads to other states too. I had a blast at their Japanese locations when I visited. I hope it is in their best interest to expand outside of California.
Please come to Oregon! There is literally nothing here!

So can someone post the picture of the X3. I'm assuming it's an Asian cabinet.

More than likely an Asian cabinet, no possible way it will/would be an upgrade from an X/X2 US AC. And oddly enough, I am not surprised an X3 has landed in the US, especially at a Round1 location in California since, you know, they pretty much get these machines exclusively and junk.Would still love to see the picture and hope and pray they come to Florida. Central Florida. Central-Bay Area-Florida.

Here's to hoping the machine comes (mostly) unlocked from an old e-amusement connection.
Post #5560 · Posted at 2012-08-29 06:02:19am 13 years ago

Had to download the Photobucket app, upload, and then copy the link and paste it all to here from my phone rofl (no computer)
Anyways, this is our cabinet. I've also received word that Round 1 will NOT be receiving e-amusement since they don't have it in America, and only in Japan. Was told it'd be too much of a hastle blahblah to get it connected over here.
