Oh, wow! I really appreciate everyone's efforts on this. Well I'll be in Korea by the time X2 really gets underway over here, so hope it all goes well (and that Seoul gets it if they haven't already).

osan or kunsan?

I have some informations for LTDN. Yes, DDRX2 is coming but not now. We have to wait the official release (3rd week of december) so i think we will have the game in January. T_T

Question.
Though we know that the drift issue is, apparently, solved, what'll happen with the e-amuse unlocks? From what I've gathered, a lot, if not all, of the unlocks for X2 have come through e-amuse, including RDA. This leads me to believe that, unless arcade owners are willing to shell out extra cash for e-amuse (which they probably won't) X2 US cabs are still going to cripple compared to their Japanese counterparts. Right?

We're probably going to get unlock codes a la SN2 and X.
So in my brief return, I am going to slowly but surely work on a new simfile mix called TEMPEST. Still workin' on it. Preview -->

What i'm hoping for is for them to start using full USB support, which in a way would turn your USB into an e-amuse type card. It would enable many features that are from Japan's e-amuse, but only on the machine, like they WOULD have Replicant D-Action on the machine, but you would need a USB stick to unlock this area, then it could save the data that you've done in RDA, kind of like what e-amuse does.

Pretty much, X2 US looks to be a hit since Konami is really pushing for this release to be a good one from last year's fail of an X. The ONLY thing that WOULD make this even more better is just that ^, some sort of offline system that can help you get e-amuse features without the use of an online system.

Although, you would only be competing against your local arcades scores, not the country's/global scores, but eh, that can wait Roll Eyes

If this is to happen in the USA, I hope Konami will do the same for offline Japanese/Asian DDR games in the future.

I really hope something like that would happen, too. Save scores, unlock content the more you play / the more you accomplish, etc etc. It'd seem fairly rewarding if they went with this system.

Unfortunately, I'm... not really holding my breath for that. If it's one thing they're gonna use the USB slots for, it's for save data like X.

Ahhh hearing the confirmation that the drift bug has been addressed and is the latency problem is being fixed puts me at ease. I was really worried if Konami would get this all done in time. I have good hopes for this mixSmile
Offline profiles probably won't be featured this mix, but hopefully Konami may take this suggestion towards the next one.

I mentioned offline profiles via USB to Okada when we were testing the cabinet and gave him a number of other suggestions. He said he would pass them onto the developers but none of them would be done in time for the final release.

DDRX2 is not e-amusement ready out of the box due to lack of a strong partner for the US version. Okada had mentioned to me though that they are currently restructuring the network in Japan so that the expensive routers and static IP will no longer be necessary to use the service. Once this infrastructure change is completed Konami plans to push e-amusement much more in the US because there won't be anymore expensive equipment to buy and the operating costs will drop considerably for the US market.

To combat the lack of e-amusement, the unlocks will all be managed via codes similar to SN2 & X. The build I played at the playtest the other day had all of the current unlocks that are available in japan (including max love, mei oni, etc.), so they're definitely going to be available to everyone eventually.

A challenge animation of some MEI came out

I uploaded what I added to a thing of oneself while watching a picture Evil Puppy

It was high speed *1.5 then, but it seems to be a vug trick of *2

To be frank, when do valHeavy after having done this, is terrible; it is easy, and can think, and is hopeless

I told that you do it with a controller, but do understand the one that said dual shock 2?

Because there is the item which I sustain it by USB to a PC, and can work, I am useful

Not finished being almost broken the left stick though a play does not have any problemCool

By the way, will the present high score be around 925,000?

Original score indication 6 is a figure, but is easy to understand it because there are not many differences when it is seven figures

Will you all set it to relative difficulty 1Big Grin

Because the link seems to be connected, I start itIdea

Can't think of anywhere else to post it, so I guess here is fitting. I went to Funplex today and the X2 had been taken away. Since I haven't been there in about a month or so, I'd assume it had been gone for at least a week. That, and now that they're "in stock", there's really no point in keeping around a location test.

@eddie: Oh wow, even more great news. I like how Konami is taking this very seriously now. Having unlock codes and no offline profiles is really no biggie to me right now. I'm just glad they are taking in suggestions and doing their best to make e-Amusement more appealing, especially towards the less arcade enthusiastic Western market.

Now you mention that they will be trying to lower costs of e-Amuse to be more appealing to the US market in the future and I just want to clarify if that also includes Canada as well (bringing the service more the like) . It may sound silly, but I want to clear this bit up.

29th of December.
As for IR3, it has already started on 2nd of November (unofficially)
You can look at the X2 logo main screen, the IR is on.
All the IR3 courses records played from 2nd of November onwards will be displayed once the IR3 is officially started.

Ray: Yes, I know it has unofficially started. I also knew that for IR1 and 2. I ask because I want to know when the X2 special sight will update with the IR3 so I can check rankings. Thats why I care.
