I would try asking my arcade operator, but I think there are more ITG fans in my area than DDR (considering the ITG machine in my area now runs openITG with an ITG3 theme plus a garbage load of songs that only contain a challenge chart and no graphics at all Oops )

So if I suggested to them to get an X2 Dedicab (If I can recall, I heard upgrade kits are only available for X cabinets), I think they would just laugh at the idea rather than consider it.

ITG's popularity could put arcade owners off getting X2 cabs. You may as well put some X2 stepfiles onto a USB and play it like that. (even if the Marvelous window is tighter)

La Tête Dans Les Nuages removed the DDRX machine. I hope this is for DDR X2. It may be possible because the game is out tomorrow...
You can't be serious xD
Well, have fun if you get it guys. I'm not done with X1 yet, so many many songs to play...
Sure i'll come play some songs if you get an X2 cab.
But this are only hypothesis for now.

Time to hold the breath on whether or not they fixed the drift issue.

I'd let that breath go because knowing Konami it won't have been fixed for non-eamuse regions.
Same here :s
But i have still some hope...

Yeah I already did thatTongue I played Sakura Sunrise on Standard and boy is that chart fun.
I wanted to play Vanessa Standard, but apparently the sm file was too large and jam packed with edit files for some reason.

I'm praying though that my local arcade gets it. I may even try asking for the heck of it. But before all that, I wanna know if Konami has fixed all those bugs. I guess in due time we'll all know

I'm going to my arcade on Saturday. If they have X2, I'll take videos of the missing charts in the simfiles (can someone send me a list by PM please? thanks in advance). If they don't, I'll play the removed songs X->X2.

The game isn't actually out yet, it officially starts shipping the 3rd week of December. Betson is only taking orders as of right now, and someone likely made a mistake in regards to that product page.

As for the drifting issue, myself and members of bemanistyle's staff has been doing playtesting for Konami to resolve these issues. The Drifting problem HAS BEEN corrected as of the newest build (that we played earlier today) but some screen latency persists. Konami's staff took several videos of us playing and we gave a detailed account of how late the lag appeared to us. This issue is being worked on as I type this and we will have one last playtesting session with them next week before the final production build of the software is placed into the cabinets.

Despite what people may think, Konami of America is taking the timing concerns very seriously, and as of our meeting today they're doing a great job to being on track for the release of the title.

Oh, wow! I really appreciate everyone's efforts on this. Well I'll be in Korea by the time X2 really gets underway over here, so hope it all goes well (and that Seoul gets it if they haven't already).
Play my game Arcana Seal of Rimsala (SNES)!

Before the release of X2, I believe there was only one DDR machine in all of Seoul: a Japanese SuperNOVA2 located at Joy Plaza in Apgujeong. They told me in the end of July that they were getting X2, but I wasn't around to see it.

While Joy Plaza was a great place, I hope for your sake more locations in Korea (although there were only 2-3 other well-known arcades in Seoul that I'm aware of...) have gotten any DDR at all. I know it sucked for me that I had to take the subway all the way out there anytime I wanted to play DDR. (But hey, on the bright side you'll be up to your nose in Pump NXA and Fiesta, as well as jubeat ripples!)

Well heres hoping then the new pad designs arent actually the ones we've got over here in the UK and if this is all true it might actually be a very playable (and possibly enjoyable) release!

How strange, bemanistyle still has a playtest next week to test if issues have been resolved, why would it be available before then?

It might be like X. Some things were "fixed" after the release. Which, imo, shouldn't happend.
Like eddie said before they will make some test again ect. But on the other hand the shipping start the 3rd week of december (not today here) so...
the first shipped arcades won't be fixed it seems.

I would prefer that they delay all the releases until they get the things done.
It seems that in the past years, video games have this tendency : release an unfinished game and bring "patch" asap (last exemple in mind is GT5). I really don't like this, especialy for arcade games.
Anyway we'll see.

EDITED (because i can't read properly)

Fixed it for you.

Looks like this release seems to be looking good for the US, really glad they are putting this much effort to get the AC part of DDR back into the US in full force...why couldn't the CS versions follow this model?

Oops i missread, sorry. I fix this in my previous post.

So if the game came out the 3rd week only... i'm wondering if you'll got the game in your area Greaf.
And if you got it, it might be a broken one (like a beta cab).

I hope they'll fix the game for everyone, not only for America ^^'
