The speed isn't locked btw. It uses the speed you had on MAX. (period).

If two people are playing extra, one player should choose a fast mod on Max Period and take the fail while the other player double A's it. That way OTP will be a little nicer in the beginning, at least until the first speed up. I'll try this with 513 next time we play together, maybe tomorrow.

Can't you adjust it at the beginning? Valkyrie dimension EES used the same mods as the previous song, but there's videos showing people quickly changing it before the first note arrives.

You can change the speed before the song starts... but if you look at the videos, would you have any time to do so?

People have changed speed mods at the beginning of Pluto Relinquish. If that's possible then OT"P" is.

With the speed mod idea wouldn't it force the better player on the low speed mod and the worse player on the high speed mod?

Also here's all the info obtainable from the second video that can't be obtained from the first:
- Before, we knew a Great was 810-819.9 points, which would place the song anywhere from 603 to 609 steps/freezes in total.
- Now, since a Marvelous is known to be 1650-1659.9 points, the song therefore has anywhere from 603 to 606 steps/freezes in total.
- Unfortunately we can't see any more of the stepchart from the second video than the first, as an artifact of the second video being played on Reverse.
- After the first note which is an F, we now know the second note is an A♭.

Lightally, it's extremely standard and intended for heavies?

The better player could play for the worse player, switching back to their side when playing Over The "Period" on the higher speedmod.

Also that Vine shows that FEFEMZ got farther... like 27 steps in but it wasn't on video, apparently.

Also, I want to get something off my chest here: have we forgotten about the 6 main songs already? Even if only "the chosen ones" will actually be able to complete the event, over half of the new song list is still accessible to tons more players out there (with access to a 2014 machine, but I digress). If I were able to participate in this event, I'd still be happy with being able to play those songs even if I can't pass EGOISM 440 or beyond.

I Have a Question about "The Daily Stars" in DDR 2014:

If put on the machine 2 Rounds for 1 Credit. The System of the Daily Stars Changed ? Only Get 6 Stars in Total for Get Extra Stage or Still the 9 Stars in Total?

I believe you still need 9 stars to unlock the Extra Stage regardless of how many stages you get per credit.

I was pretty much thinking it was around 32.5bpm at the time..
