VD S- was the first to officially to be rated a 15 on Difficult.

In VD that number is less than 500 (Also in Paranoia Hades )

OMG, the new D- chart is amazing

Maybe you got me over hyped, or maybe I don't know what makes a good doubles chart anymore. I always liked it when they switched up the rhythm on the steps in the chart, which they do a little there but only in the paranoia section and the very end of the final run. There is a lot of back and forth, which is also fun, but I miss things like Genome Screams, emotion, Gamelan de Couple, AA, Mars War 3, etc.

Because different people want different things.

People are getting hyped to see the first 20 footer but I got a feeling most of them will be disappointed once they see how BS the chart will end up being. Hell there's not even a good 19, why should I expect a good 20?

I was hyped when the RDA charts were unlocked and it was revealed that Valkyrie dimension S- was the first 19 (not counting Possession D- which technically came first), even though I fully expected it to be BS. I was not disappointed when the chart was finally revealed. I am expecting something similar with Egoism 440 or Over The "Period".

Also I'd like to say that Possession D- and Paranoia Revolution D- are both perfectly good 19s. Paranoia Revolution S- and Valkyrie dimension D- aren't that bad either.

Possession CDP is barely playable. All of the 19s so far are trash.

I hate to bring ITG into this, but even though most of the people here don't like the charts people in the ITG community play, the community has proven that it's possible to have really difficult FUN charts. I'm not talking about the Pendulum songs where it's 7 minutes of 174 BPM stream. There's a pretty big variety of 14s and 15s (and higher) that are great charts. I don't know why Konami can't do this. You don't need stupid jumps and hard crossovers/footswitches to make a difficult chart.

Konami does not have good history as far as making high difficulty charts, so I fail to see why anyone is surprised at Max.(period) being what it is, and no one should be surprised if/when Egoism 440 is pure arrow vomit.

There's a right way to make a high level chart, and for whatever reason they can't do it. It's not hard to make a hard chart fun.

I have a mighty need to see what in the fuck is harder and stupider than VD according to Konami.

I just want to see what a 20 is with my own eyes. I know it'll be horrible and I'll never be able to even pass such a song, but if Konami made their scale out of 20, I want to see what sick and twisted chart they consider to be the hardest.

You get to hear a tiny bit of the song here.
Like.......maybe a whole second. But you get a small feel for the style at least.
This reminds me of Pluto from SN2 honestly. The whole getting to hear the song a couple seconds at a time, not necessarily the song itself. Granted it does sound like the first note or 2 is piano, which is good.

Damn, how'd that second step in the Encore Stage miss just like that?

Also hoping people figure out to quickly increase the speed mod at the beginning of OT"P", if it lets you. At least the first six steps are at the same BPM of ~33.

I bet the speed is locked. It was for Max.(period) IIRC.
Also, what did I do wrong in my last post to get rated down? I would like to know so I can post better in the future.
