DDR PS3 has hit the reasonable asking rate of $40 now.

I mean, sure... it's still $70 once you buy the coveted DLC; but at least you get some songs worth playing that way. If you're like me, and had to leave the analog age behind in getting to the digital age (unfortunately), it could be the last hope you have left.

It's not. It's seriously not. $40 is a great price for this game. Since being in college has hindered my ability to buy all the games I want, I've become a very cheap gamer. I still payed $70 for this game when it came out. I do not regret it at all.

Though I'll probably wait for a price drop on the next version because I do not condone the practice of only releasing the game with a dance pad. It dropped relatively quickly.

That is a pretty good price given the fact that it's a bundle. $20 for the game and $20 for the mat. Asking for anything lower than just a few more bucks for each seems to be asking a lot since other single sales of DDR and dance mats equal that price. For example, a new single sale of DDR would be about $40-$50 and the dance mat is valued at $20+ so there's your $70+ right there. The dance mat price usually doesn't drop while the game price does. $50+ dropped to $20? I say that's a great deal.

Is there any fix to get a Cobalt Flux working with it, short of unscrewing the panels and re-placing them?

I just noticed something peculiar about the selection of DLC.

It's ALL = NAOKI + jun + U1. No other artists, Konami-official or Konami-commissioned, has endorsed it. Sad

(Besides dj.TAKA's contribution to KAKUMEI? [EDIT: ...and Star Gate Heaven]) In fact... the old-school song transplants are that way too, now that I think of it.

Except the IIDX crossovers, where a LOT of the super-popular KO meat is. I'd say nearly half of 5th Mix - EXTREME (that were really popular) was Sota, too. Not to mention a LOT of SuperNOVA.
