But can't those arrow skins just be available from the beginning? Why can't they just give us everything before Japan in an off-line unlock system? I hope the American version doens't suck. I'm expecting AT LEAST everything Japan has gotten, e.g. alternate costumes for characters.

I don't think we'll be getting everything. From what I know, they haven't finished the Zukin Wars yet, which means that they still have more things to unlock.
Although I do think that America will be getting the newest version of SuperNova2 before Japan gets it as an update.

Well, you're optimistic, I'll give you that.
That would be nice, but this is Betson we're talking about, they're not exactly great.

I think we should get everything. Betson did not plan for unlocking the boss songs for SN1 though lol. It should be ok. I think it will be a great game regardless.

Yea I don't know if you've been reading up on the latest issue brought up by Ryan (since you were kicked off ddrfreak), but Betson's higher-ups don't want us to get e-Amuse.

I really don’t care if we get E-Amuse or not. Just give me all the songs Japan can play.

I've already said about 100 times that I don't care about eAMUSE. I just want everything we would have gotten from eAMUSE.

My point isn't about e-Amuse, it's about Betson not having the best customer service. One of my arcades still hasn't gotten the patch for SN1, and I've heard other stories of people requesting parts and not getting a response; I just am not ready to completely trust them. Yes it would be great to have an offline unlock system, but we still have to convince them that it's worth the trouble. These things just don't get handed to us.

i would hope that konami learned from the SN1 mistake and included an offline unlock system.
they may not listen about "small" things like speed mods we want, but we usually get what we ask for, like "ZOMG MORE CROSSOVERS PLZ!" and "ZOMG STUPID HARD MAXX SONGS PLZ!", with the amount of people dissapointed in not having the SN1 boss songs i see no way konami will ignore that.
but maybe i think too highly of them.

Wow, the things I heard about these forums are true. Anyway, people fear that SN2 will suffer the same fate as SN1(no playable boss songs) unless Konami just gives up e-amuse and goes with a MAX2 like unlock system.

I would really like an similar unlock system to eAMUSE, only offline.

That would basically be a timed-unlock system.
I don't know, Betson is really lazy, and I'm not convinced that they would create a whole new offline-unlock system. I've very curious to see what they will do.

In my opinion, it's highly unlikely that Betson would implement an unlock system for that content at all.
But one can only hope... after all, if they don't, I doubt they're going to have all of it available.

Its not that Betson is lazy, they have little faith in the whole e-amuse thing. They don't think it would do well in the US. Which is sorta true. Not everyone can have their machine online, it costs money. Not only that but restocking on e-amuse cards. As much as I liked e-amuse at the SN2 beta its not gonna happen.

That's exactly why it should be offered, but not required. Even big arcades are probably going to be hesitant to pay extra in order to have the machine go online, but if it's offered with an offline alternative for unlocking stuff, they may come to realize that more players would rather play with e-Amuse than without it.
Now, I'm not exactly sure how much per month e-Amuse is, but I think arcades with moderate to big fanbases will have no problem paying that, as long as the players play the game a bit more often, which I'm sure they will.
