No more Supernova 2 licenses? Dang. Oh well, at least the 4 Dancemania Revivals, 2 Konami song winners (whatever you call them), Golden Sky, Trickster, Koko Soko and Polyrhythm are still there.

If they really want to put a 15 on Sakura sunrise, they should put it on Double .. It's much more tiring than single IMO.
On the X2 folder, this is the only 14 (double) I've not yet obtain an AAA. Lol.
Even Anti-Matter double (15) is much more easier than Sakura sunrise double

I really think YELLOW CANDY Singles Heavy should be a 14.
smooooch DOUBLE EXPERT is still underrated on its difficulty.
Sakura Sunrise doesn't deserve a difficulty increase at all.

So, not all DDR X licence songs was removed ?

Remind me MAX 2 before on Extreme. Some of them was removed, the other still remaining on Extreme.

Oh, well. If DDR X3 will introduce licence songs from HP4 , better Venus or Bad Romance chosen.


I think Sakura Sunrise Single should be 13 not 14 because it easier than Konoko no nanatsu no Oiwaini

Except, in every DDR game up to Extreme, all licenses were fair game as they came from Dancemania ,so when they dropped a license, it wasn't for the same reason they drop them today. Especially on Extreme when they pretty much packed in as much music as they could without causing the music quality to sound like it was coming from a cassette tap. Today they're forced to drop a license due to the license expiring and they no longer wish to renew it. This is why all Dancemania licenses were dropped in SuperNOVA at once, they're licensing deal ran dry.

June H. got some videos from the X3 location test, including one for Haunted Rhapsody. Sadly, it looks like a DDR 2010 chart with its awkward step placements.

Anyone going to this or any future location test, please talk to the reps and write in the notebook about the stepcharts. At the rate this is going, the entire game is going to be stepped by the awful DDR 2010/HP2 team and the game will be a huge letdown for everyone. Talking to the reps/writing the notebook may not seem like it will do much, but remember that it got stepcharts changed in X2.

HP3 had fine charts.

They're bad in the sense that they're mediocre, like most of of the 2010 charts. There's a difference between unplayable bad and "bleh" bad imo. A Geisha's Dream (Ruffage Mix), Silver Dream, the HP2 9 footers, and most of the boss songs of late are unplayable bad. The X2/HP3/2010 license charts (and some of their KO charts), however, are bad in that they feel...homogenized? In a way, they're all composed of the same bland patterns that don't really mesh well with the unique qualities of each song. There are some gems in there, but there isn't the same quality consistency that there was ten years ago...that's what I'm saying, if it makes any sense.

And I hope to god that song gets restepped by release time.
