DanceDanceRevolution (PS3 & Xbox 360) (International)

This seems reasonable. I mean it is there first release on a new platform in 3-4 years. It would make sense to see how everything goes before you get serious, but then again if they were testing the waters they should have put out a demo or a beta in early 2010 and taken feedback from that.

Wow, typo right on the box. Truly this release meant a lot to KONAMI. I guess they decided if they were going to put a half-assed effort into the game, they might as well be consistent and do the same for the box.

I know Konami is known for their typos, but this one is about as bad as "Double Tornado".

The Tsunami effects makes Konami doing some mistakes.

Agreed. They honestly should have made the UI at least like the ones for PS2 if not exact in style and operation. If not they should have gone the U3 route. I'm sure they could have pulled it off or even something better.

I can understand change, but at what cost? Seeing how now it's selling well, there's a good chance DDR 2011 (If they call it that) will be very much the same as DDR 2010. I know that a ton of the hardcore DDR fans will hate that if it happens, but if it makes Konami more money, then they really don't care what the DDR's hardcore fan base thinks.

It's all about the benjamin$.

It's not. It's sold about 50,000 units in America, which is pathetic. The Wii version has sold about 160,000 so far in its first 4-5 months, which is about double what Hottest Party 3 had sold in its first 4-5 months, so that game has been a success for Konami thus far.

I wonder if Amazon.co.uk has sold out of all 7 copies yet?

We gave in to what Konami wanted.
We supported them despite their lack of effort.

I am very shocked they didn't put there all into this release... Considering there are so many other dance games out now thanks to kinect.

I guess this is what happens when you expect Konami to do the smart thing!

You guys will buy just about anything.
I bet if DDR Freedom transformed to be the upcoming PS3 sequel to PS3 DDR 2010, you'd buy it.
