well, seeing Hinabitter's songs haven't been cut even in saucer's song swap despite being licenses, I see they're very much popular

is this based on something logical because it looks like you're just hatin
It's based on my opinion that Hinabita is It goes without saying that if you dig the tunes or the group, then kudos to you & more power to ya. It ain't my cup of milk though, and I have no qualms in expressing that.

Off the subject of HinaBitterSweets:
I'm going to float something here. You know how the 6th Extra Stage song and the Encore Extra Stage song were both by U1, right? And we know the EES was MAX. (period). Maybe it's not the end of DDR, but I think it may be an indication that U1 is planning on going the NAOKI/jun route and leaving Konami.

That literally proves nothing about U1 leaving Konami. NAOKI and jun didn't leave with boss songs, rather they left with song that were mediocre at best. I personally think U1 is getting better with no signs of stopping.

Unlike NAOKI and jun, U1 expanded his horizons and adapted himself to fit in with the rest of the BEMANI artists, in-house and commission. I expect him to keep making music until BEMANI dies, that's how well he's set himself.

Maybe it's just me, but I was thinking about all the stuff that happened with DDR X3 vs. 2ndMIX prior to NAOKI leaving. Remember "TRIP MACHINE EVOLUTION", "PARANOiA Revolution", and "LOVE IS THE POWER -Re:born-"? I wonder if it's just a coincidence that all those songs were released months before NAOKI left Konami, or if they released all that content to honor his contributions to DDR and other BEMANI series prior to his departure?

NAOKI clearly wanted to do different things. For years he's been musing on social media about the next kind of music/dance game, and the you can see that in the different modes (balance board, remote wagging) that were slipped into HOTTEST PARTY, and his development of DanceEvolution.

NAOKI has already taken advantage of the freedom of being a renegade artist in CrossxBeats. You can tell from the artists he's chosen in the game, that he always saw content that he couldn't reach or highhandedly revive because of being stuck in Bemani. This is emphasized with artists in-game such as SLAKE, Cranky, Yamajet, ASLETICS, and many others.
U1 has actually been more accepting and adapting to the rapid changes from in game. You can tell from Adrenaline, Endorphin, and Nostalgia is Lost that he can stay modern and CAN stay popular within the catacombs of Bemani fans. Max (Period) was more of a treat to the older players that have been with him and the DDR series.
He ain't moving a single damn inch until he's ready to leave. Seeing how things are going, TAG better prepare to leave as sound director soon.

Judging from the recent DDR Unlocks and other assorted scenarios, it looks like U1 already kicked him out

here's a thing: TAG began playing DDR on 2ndMIX, he started taking control on X3 (X2 was much assisted by dj TAKA) and he wanted to pay homage to the first mix he ever played on. And that's how X3 VS 2ndMIX came to be.So no, it's not NAOKI. It's DDR 2ndMIX.

The 90% of CrossxBeats songs goes from generic to disappointing, the gameplay may be pretty fun... but can't stand the songs.
