I play because it's harder, more fun, better freedom of movement and I just love some of the reactions I get even from Japanese players who, also, have forgotten how to play Doubles.

My eAmuse card is at level 40 and contains zero Single play records. I can't remember the last time i played on Single. :3

The difficulty of doubles on the PS3's soft mats is a decent enough excuse to not have doubles... for like one or two games, maybe. Who knows, it could be a temp thing; long as Konami's listening to criticism, doubles will prolly come back.
I am just looking more forward to the next PS3 game. Yanno, as long as the good features advertised early on don't get scrapped again.

Honestly soft pads are extremely horrible for doubles play. They slide around too much.


I hope something like that won't happen. I mean a customizable UI was a great idea and they should have kept coverflow or at least let you decide how you want the music selection to be.

most likely, but i'm mostly talking about songs like Orion.78, Healing vision, etc. you know, the moderately difficult ones.

P.S. i kind of fear the Pluto/Fascination remixes. Too heart-attack inducing.

Lol. It's not that bad. I want all the really hard songs. I don't know why MAXX UNLIMITED wasn't included in DDRMAX2 Greatest Hits, but then again there is a possibility of having MAX2 Hits 2 like SuperNOVA Hits 2 and we might get it there because FAXX was in SuperNOVA Hits 2.

Naoki is asking people on Facebook now if they want the next DDR release to be a download title (XBLA/PSN). I think it would be a great idea if the features are set in place, in addition to having a lot of DLC in the pipeline.
