Following the PW Apocalypse, the machine at Chewy Boba Full Sail is now X3.

The problem with X3 is that, without a network connection, it's impossible to unlock 2nd Mix fully in X3 mode. KiddJimmy told me they're supposedly going to release a patch to allow for the 2nd Mix songs to unlock without a network connection.

Pretty much, we'll be able to play the game fully unlocked eventually, but that's as far as DDR is going to go here in the US/UK/Any other part of the world that is not Japan + Asia.

Nice AA. Although I do like DDR, where is a good place to play ITG in Florida? I have only played a few times on a non-r21 ITG upgrade cab, which kinda sucked and also on oITG at home and would like to play some simfiles on foot, which I can totally prove myself now, as back when I did play I could play up to maybe a 5 difficulty song at best and now can to some extent play 9s. However, I usually don't get quad stars.

I live close to a friend who has a DDR EXTREME machine in his apartment converted into oITG. He has over 14k+ songs on it, I do believe he has every single major DDR/ITG/simfile collection on his machine.

Thing is, it's in Tampa/New Tampa. Outside of that I have no idea where any other ITG machine is in Florida :/

Note: working ITG machine with amazing pads, there probably are some out there in the wild, but their quality may not be as high as before.

And here I am in lovely Fort misery Myers, where the only closest ddr arcade in a thousand miles is an old ddr Extreme machine with tin can pads


Yeah, the Escape Zone over here got torn down due to numerous city code violations

And it was the only one with a real decent DDR arcade

So far as I've seen, Tampa, Orlando, and some parts of Jacksonville and Miami have some BEMANI left over, someday soon though if Round1 happens to rear it's face to the Sunshine State we could be seeing a lot more wider options for some cities.

I feel like those four cities have a good chance of getting a Round1 popping up within the next year or two...

...and if not, me and said friend are working on a solution to that which should happen at around the same time in Tampa ;)

There's also a private owner of an ITG machine in the Orlando area, I think. In the suburb of Oviedo, to be exact.

And Jimmy seems to think it's likely Orlando could get a Round1 location. We can only hope they bring some DDR with them.

The only Beatmania I've ever been aware of in Orlando was a half-broken Beatmania machine at either Rocky's Replay or XS Orlando in Pointe Orlando. That doesn't include the Beatmania in Daytona Beach. We've never had a IIDX machine.
