I guess So, But Pink on an Arcade Machine? Doesn't it make the Machine look.... Unusual? That's like taking a Time Crisis 4 Machine and Painting it Purple. But hopefully the song list on the new DDR Will be amazing.

Congrats on outdoing Betson in the ugly machine design category.

I pray the LED cabs hang around for a good long while.

It's kinda cuuuute. And future-y. Looking forward to seeing people play on it and for the love of all that is holy tell us what the gameplay actually looks like

Hoping this shiny machine design will put some kind of spark in DDR's future, but there's no way to really speculate that until people start playing it, I suppose.

Don't be so quick to jump on the new cab design. After all, you all remember what happened last time a cabinet was re-designed and we expected it to come to America...

DDR has always been themed around blue on the left side and pink on the right side. It's just one of those things they phased out over the years.

That's a bad example because unlike DDR, the theme for Time Crisis never changes. The theme for DDR changed so therefore it has some pink on the machine, so it makes sense.

Also does Reflec Beat or Dance Evolution look all that bad? They look pretty okay to me. Not to mention Empress (although the machine itself wasn't pink/purple, it still had the entire menus and marquee).

As long as the pads play fine, I'm okay. I don't really endorse the course of action they're taking with the aesthetics, but that's a silly thing to complain about if the game itself is still good.

I actually like that design, it looks really sleek. The look of it also really makes me think of ELEKTEL's sound...and you know what, it would be nice to have ELEKTEL appear in DDR.

It will be a pain to keep the machine clean with that color design. Gonna suck for the employees that have to clean machines hahahahaa.

Can't wait till the botched up Betson version hits the US.

I wonder if this machine is going to cost less now that the LED lights are gone. They were one of the things removed on X/X2 cabs to cut costs in NA.

Sure hope they don't cut costs on the pads...that'll end everything.

It, thankfully, looks like the same exact stage build as every Japanese DDR cabinet ever... just puked on by Skittles.

I would hope that another manufacturing company would make the NA version of the machine after the last 2 Betson games tanked, right?

I just don't get how people talk as though this has a better chance of getting an English release than X3 did.

Either way, instead of Betson they could get, hmm, gee, I dunno, KONAMI to make the machine? You know that small, no-name outfit that makes the Japanese ones?
