They probably won't remove the La Bamba by LH MUSIC CREATION because it isn't a true license. It is based on folk music and can't be copy written, right?

The LH Music Creation version is licensed. There's a copyright on the lyrics.

The instrumental version from DDR Extreme is royalty-free. The sole reason it's there (and still there in DDR X2) is so that DDR gameplay can be shown on commercial television, without the broadcasting company having to pay any royalties..
IIRC, the EXTREME version of La Bamba is public domain, so Konami can keep it in DDR for as long as it wants.

The only removal I'm sad about is Put 'Em Up.
Same. It's pretty much the only license in DDR X US that I enjoyed.

Dang they remove licenses way too early this time. U Can't Touch This was one of my favorites. And I don't want Dancemania revivals to be removed way too early.

When DDR X2 was announced, I thought that only Supernova licenses would disappear but it turns out even Supernova 2 licenses also disappeared. It was pretty cool that Supernova licenses made it all the way to X though...

Where they were given new ratings and were promptly fixed up when they were offsync (especially Surrender your love).

You got that right.

considering Angelus is now gone and most of DDR X's licenses except Koko Soko, this would also
mean that Golden Sky is still there right?

About the LH Creation of La Bamba, it's not included on the end credits hence this is not a license.
it would be great to see this song removed though.

So the cover version of Polyrhythm is a Konami Original since it's not included on the Licenses list.
With this news in mind. I need to PFC and play more of DDR X's licenses and not to worry about them in the
future. Big Grin

uh... Polyrhythm is definitely not a Konami Original. Perhaps covers aren't listed in the game credits because I don't remember it in DDRX2's credits either.

This. while other cover licenses are listed on the end credits
(as i remember from DDR X's end credits)

even songs like Ain't Mountain High Enough and I'll Make Love to You
are listed on it.

IIRC, Polyrhythm and Koko Soko do not appear in the Credits of DDR X and DDR X2. I really don't know why.

But Koko Soko isn't a cover. It's the original song.

That talk show with K-dogg playing La Bamba (from Extreme) on the SN makes sense. That's the only song they played, and I was wondering why. I thought it's just because it's well-known.

Although, I saw another talk show with a guy playing CSFIL (SM), while tossing torches...

Off topic, I know.

You got that right.

Why licence songs on DDR are very quickly must to removed ?

Different than GF DM series that still have old licence even I Think About You still exist on V7 (Even the songs firstly appear on 1999).

BTW, Diamond Dust ?

Final Fantasy much ? Shiva ? Laughing Out Loud Laughing Hard

"Keep the frequency clear."
ANGELUS is too good to be removed among those removed songs. The Heavy chart is good, and DDR lacks of Jazz or Salsa beat.

And Diamond Dust ~try to sing ver.~ is slightly better than the original, I think. I personally don't know why.
I'm a DDR player, but never make a AAA.
No, I'm not a IIDX player, but I'm a BMS player.
No, I'm not pnm player, and I haven't play pnm simulator yet.

14 is really enough for me. More like a 9 on old foot rating than a 10.

If anything, Pierce the Sky should be elevated to a 15.

I'm convinced Konami only does this so that there's an "easiest" way to reach Extra Stage lol.

yeah Sakura Sunrise S-Heavy isn't a 15.

I think smooooch D-Heavy is still underrated though.
