This isn't working. Hell, it won't even let me into MS during standard anymore. I haven't even gotten to MS screen 2 yet... (and I have fffff )

First, go into FREE MODE pressing a white key. Then on the options page, do the Start+Select thing. That should do the trick!

And I never knew how amazing fffff was. I've been whoring it out on hyper all day trying to clear it.

I don't think you can get MS in free mode unless you have MS2 songs available in MS.

Also, MS requires extra stage criteria:
Level 5/6: Full Combo
Level 7: 100% Groove Gauge Clear (I've heard hard clearing works, but haven't tested it)
Level 8+: Clear in any way

EDIT: Hang on, I got ninja'd with new info...

DOUBLE EDIT: Ok, got in on Standard mode at least and I kept getting attacked like every time I got in! I'm gonna question those requirements for the military 2 splash unlocks. I got fffff before even getting to MS2 and I've never full comboed MENDES [N]/gotten border clear or border bonus and yet here I have Pluto and Children's Sketchbook attacking me.

mmm... that just applies to the final stage, adding that the sum of the levels must be 21, in example, you can play a 6, a 7, and an 8, so the only thing that you have to do is clearing the 3 stages in any form.

DJ Troopers' unlock criteria is very confusing, but easy.

it's funny, I got:
-the IMPLANTATION's attack the first time I entered in the MS.
-fffff's attack the next time I entered in MS after beating Übertreffen(N).
-Children's Sketchbook's attack the next time I entered in the MS after beating Mirage Residence(N).
-Pluto's attack the next time I entered in the MS after beating Trip Machine Phoenix(N).
(It has a little game pattern if you notice it)

-to unlock VOX UP, I used a lot of easy methods: Full Comboing MENDES (N), getting AAA (+000) in ...ehem... quick master, and getting border bonus in the same song, it's easy since it has few notes.

I repeat: DJ Troopers' unlock criteria is very confusing, but easy.

Probably like how they do codes in IIDX & DDR, spell out a word using the ABC or hold a certain button when you choose a song

i believe you have to turn the turntable while the song is loading after selecting it. depending on which way you turn it, you get a different number.
also, from VJARMY:

although apparently it's not the song, it just activates Gambol timing for every song.

REMINISCENCE:

Select the song then immediately HOLD SELECT, then either:

Turn the turntable anti-clockwise to get 002.
Turn the turntable clockwise to get 003.

GAMBOL HYPER Timing: (Very strict timing)

Go to G and then press SELECT.
Go to J and then press SELECT.
Go to H and then press SELECT.

GAMBOL ANOTHER Timing: (JUST GREATS and BADS ONLY)

Go to G and then press SELECT.
Go to J and then press SELECT.
Go to A and then press SELECT.

got all except rise 'n beauty, switch, vox, and the forever song. yes, i do have all the medals on normal in military splash. border clear = done. 573 = done.

Edit: Ahh sorry, should have looked their first as always. Didn't realize it was an expert course pic, thought I had somehow missed a grade specific one.

You just need to do the condition twice on that day and you should get it. I posted all the gallery unlock methods in the first post.

Now all thats left is for someone to post the autoplay GST and were set, then onto Empress CS.
