How is it obvious we got two week's worth of DLC?

We didn't get anything this week so I guess the mixed they two together... I wish that they would have told us something! Such is Konami though.
( I really need to work on my grammar...)

They should at least help us out a little.

- Six packs (DDR S+ DLC is usually three at a time)
- Two SuperNOVA 2 packs at the same time
- First release date was air-balled.
Not proof, but it makes sense.

No LBP2 dlc either. This Sony update was utterly pointless and empty. I'm kind of sad.
Ever since the big release before Christmas, the psn has neglected us. The best thing I've seen besides dlc for DDR was Linkin Park on RB.

Stop crying folks, at least the game is no longer dead to me. It has 83 songs now, that's larger than the Japanese DDRX CS.

Irrelevant. Those two games are made by different teams and are released on different consoles. DDR S+ is different from the Universe series is different from the Ultramix series is different from the PS3 game.Quote: AeronPeryton

There was only one SN2 pack; two SN1 packs. And as you said, that doesn't prove your point. They probably wanted to do that.Quote: AeronPeryton

It depends on how you look at this. PSN updates don't come out on Wednesdays, so it's up to you to decide if they met their deadline. Some people (like me) believe they had their update ready on a Wednesday, but had to wait until next Tuesday for it to be released. But they definitely missed this week. Either way, Konami has screwed up big-time and has some explaining to do.Post #5148 · Posted at 2011-01-26 01:05:09pm 14.4 years ago

Agreed. They should at least tell us what happened with the past release to give us a clue abut what happened now. Knowing whether or not we got double on the first release would be nice, but Konami seems to not know what is going on.

While this is true, I would think most hardcore players prefer new content (KO's and/or Crossovers), rather songs found on previous US CS mixes. Moreso, the Japanese CS of X IMO was a massive disappointment due to the plethora of repeats also found in Extreme CS and the lack of X-specials

DDR X was the best of the Ultramix/Universe games lol. I do agree that the lack of X-specials is a downer. The least they could have done is have edit steps for you to export. Did any of the X-specials have BPM changes not found in the original version?

If I remember correctly, maybe one or two did. But I could be mistaking. The rest are the same BPM and ripe for the editing. It would have been a great feature too because I could just pop in Extreme CS JP and played most of them in one game.

Nah, none of the X-Specials changed the BPMs. Only DEAD END ("GROOVE RADAR" Special), PARANOiA MAX ~DIRTY MIX~ (SMM-Special), and SP-TRIP MACHINE ~JUNGLE MIX~ (SMM-Special) changed the BPM of the originals.

That is true, but Konami has made too many mistakes.

Yup. I've made excuses for them up until this point, but I don't have anything else to say now.

Also, who knows when the next entry will be in Catherine's Diary and what it will even say. As far as I'm concerned there was no mention of it so where will we know to look for the next release date? I mean if they didn't care enough to put their very first DLC release date announcement on their facebook page then I doubt they will make any other kind of attempt to let us know.

Expect future DLC to just "show up". Just like it does on DDR S+. They won't make the mistake of releasing more dates that they could potentially miss.

*Sigh* So Konami, I guess it's back to waiting a month or so until new DLC is announced.

I'd say so. I wish they had weekly updates like S+.
