I got a video of pretty much all of the new songs on single. Uploading now, probably will start with Mei since people are the most curious of it.

Just going back here, i played on the machine in troc this weekend and its still got very noticable amounts of drift. HOWEVER i played it on 3.5x and then played 2 songs on 2x and it appeared the timing window drifted less when i had a lower speed mod. Not only that the "New" pad design is already broken and the p1 left kept sticking as did the p2 right no matter how soft or hard i hit them.

Remind me again, why cant we just have japanese cabinets or upgrade kits? Was it because it would allegedly be too expensive despite the price tag being HIGHER for these cabinet designs than an imported JP cab?

Also shame at PTF on AC but at least it means theres going to be one song that nobody can be bothered to PFC no matter how good they get

i'd place bets on konami having a contract with the same US-based manufacturer who was responsible for producing GH:AC hardware for activision - i also speculate it would be presumably cheaper to reuse the design than import the jap cabs

Pluto The First is the worst chart in DDR. Why would they bring it in, it's not even worth playing once. Sigh. Too bad it's currently mandatory if we want to see MEI, so we can't ignore it completely just yet.

I'm honestly not too big a fan of Mei's chart. Some of the rolls don't work (I.E. right before the speedup) and I feel like the difficulty was forced. To me, I feel like Mei would be better if it was an 11 or 12. I remember hearing/reading somewhere that Mei was put in the game mainly to attract players with that "A"-type appeal from EXTREME... and then they make it a 15.
Then again, it's Mei.

The chart is fine.
Go play Standard or Light for the 11 or 12.

I quite liked it. I found it interesting that the foot placement was straightforward for the most part, as they've really liked to use lots of crossovers/AFRONOVA walks/turns/spins in X2.

I may possibly have a good song cut for it. The camera I have with the good audio quality I placed next to the speakers for the entire song. I'll extract the audio and upload the sound clip tomorrow.

I feel like they were reigning back the difficulty on that chart, there's more they could do with it and I wouldn't be surprised if there was a challenge chart later on. For what it is though, it's a nice straightforward 15-16.

I'm so glad they did not butcher MEI's chart.
