Maybe a little late to the Max. (period) party but what if the song is just a giant "screw you" to Naoki from Konami since there will almost certainly never be another Max song.

I'd never say never, since Delta MAX ended up in an arcade mix after years of rejection. Not to mention new Paranoia's and Trip Machine's after Naoki..

I think it's weird that there is no TAG song in this event...

Why does the song sound like it has the ending of Fascination Max? Did you guys discuss this? Not quite sure if people noticed.

looks like I'm going have to move Max Period(.) simfile out of the Super Nova folder and into the DDR 2014 folder in SM. This has been fascinating news.

I wonder if he's even still the sound director for DDR. He managed to cough up one single new song for DDR 2014. Seems like U1 is more like the sound director now, he's put out three new songs for the game, and they revived his old MAX remix for EES.

U1's song output across all BEMANI has increased recently, and they've all been really good.

I love how MAX. (Period) lets the full outro play before showing the cleared screen this time around. It makes it seem that much more awesome that you finished RDi, the 573 combo adds to it as well.

In case I'm very much mistaken, the "shutter closing" sound in the original track is perfectly synchronised with the actual shutter closing.

It sort of reminds me of "Under The Sky" where most of the song is a 5 and there's an 8 measure bit where it's a 9, so they rated it a 6.

Most of E440 plays like a 16, with those parts that play like a 19.

I still think it should be an 18, and while this kind of difficulty is different than deltamax's, I do think E440 is more difficult.
