I'm pretty sure that's how it works.
I know, this is mainly how the X3 ES system works, I was just foolin' around. Because hell, anybody who can even pass VD I'm pretty sure that's how it works.
, let alone on STEALTH, can get into ES or EES in my book. And if I was a DDR machine.

Just to clarify, yes, you can accumulate 9 stars and mess up your FINAL STAGE. You'll still get EXTRA STAGE provided that you don't fail.
I recall a photo of someone getting EXTRA STAGE, in which he played CHAOS
on CUT1. D with 0 score, still get EXTRA STAGE.
Due to how X3's ES system work, on a machine set to 4 or 5 stages per play, you can get AA FC + AA FC + AA FC + D and still get EXTRA STAGE, even without eAmuse.

FYI, Amalgamation has been unlocked long time ago. It's supposed to be Unbelievable (Sparky Remix)

Which post are you referring to? UNBELIEVABLE (Sparky remix) is already fully unlocked too anyway.

Question: Is it true that some of the songs in 2nd Mix Mode are impossible to get 100% on, because the scoring system erroneously still counts for Freeze Arrows in the chart that can't be hit? (Referring in particular to the songs that use their X-edits, and Trip Machine Evolution and Paranoia Revolution.)

NEPHILIM DELTA and SILVER DREAM have been fully unlocked.
tokyoEVOLVED, osaka EVOLVED, New York EVOLVED and London EVOLVED are available as EXTRA STAGEs.
Tohoku EVOLVED is still locked as ENCORE EXTRA STAGE.

I swear there was an announcement stating that X3 would be fully unlocked on July 23, which it is now (in Japan).
X2 was fully unlocked the day the OST came out, yet X3's OST has been out for almost a month and no full unlock yet...
And can someone please answer my previous question regarding 2nd mix mode?

This. X3 has been pretty excruciating. Especially since there was really no reward for the end of this final IR, other than the relaxing of EXTRA TOUR songs to normal EXTRA STAGE requirements.

If they aren't abiding by my expectations, they're probably still trying to figure out what the hell they're going to do about the western markets, and probably finding a new company to fix the cabinets up. But if they're doing what I expect them to do, I think to put it in a TV Tropes cliche, "They Just Didn't Care."

This. Maybe there isn't enough new music to go around for a new mix yet. Sure they can add already existing BEMANI crossovers, but seeing how there's going to be no CS release here in North America this year, KONAMI won't be able to transplant half of any new KOs into the next mix. And who knows how expensive it is to use licensed music these days. X3 only had a paltry 6 new licenses, IIRC. If KONAMI's on a tight budget; or decides investing into other BEMANI franchises (like jubeat or IIDX for example), then there may not be a new DDR.

I wouldn't be so sure that there's no hidden challenge charts for ND just yet. Remember it was almost a month and a half between the Replicant-D-Action songs being unlocked and their challenge charts being accessible in normal play. Considering that Nephilim -could- support a 19 if Konami really wanted to put one there, they could easily hold off releasing it until the evolved songs are unlocked as well.

I don't think Nephilim Delta would be a 19. I don't expect it to be any higher than about 17, if there even is a
chart.
