Though Ultramix 4 was not my favorite, I thought that the power packs were a highlight in DDR history. It was an amazing concept. Then X had a few as well. I wish they would implement a system that could create non stop mega mixes to songs of your choices. Not whole songs but medleies.

I hate to bring it up again, but it would be pretty cool to be able to patch the game to have edit and doubles mode.
Is there a way for Konami to release updates like this for the game through the PSN store?

Depends if the game is programmed for it in the first place...

If the game had EDIT support in place, then all they need to do is switch it on, but if they haven't they'd have to code the entire game all over again just to include EDIT support.

If they revived BeForU for X2, they should revive dj Nagureo for this.

I doubt that they planned to put edit support in the game if it wasn't there initially. To edit anything would mean to implement your own steps or songs via hacked DLC.

My only fear is that the dlc may not transfer over to the next title. I think that isn't likely, but I could see them pulling it for the fun of it.

You have no idea as to how much that would piss me off. That's the only thing I'm worried about. If they do release 150+ DLC songs and then release another game with Edits/Doubles, and then say "YOU MUST BUY ALL YOUR DLCS AGAIN LOLOLOL".

I'm thinking they will charge gamers for a DLC patch that makes all this DLC work for the next game.

Man that DeeDeeArr's DLC system is just a ripoff of Guitar Hero / Rock Band! Konami sucks!

DJ Hero's DLC Compatibility patch makes GH and Rock Band's patch look like utter s***. It lags the DLC songs from the first one, and they put in samples that don't really quite sound that good EVEN if you time the samples to the music...
