That seems to only be on some upgrade cabs (maybe only those in the Asian region?). I've played on a few dedicabs all week and no problems, but that mouse pointer bug is kind of funny. That happened once before on the Asian cabs, didn't it?
The mouse pointer, i've encounter it once in a blue moon, but today, after the crash, it rebooted with some error, & then the mouse pointer appearing again, lol. (Description on the youtube video)So, a total of 3 times since the release of X3 here in asia.
What make me pissed, is the Course Mode fail-to-save-your-score- bug. It happens on other players as well. I was thinking whether there's this problem in Japan or not... But i guess not.

I think this is intentional actually. First we got Tohouku Evolved with one stock which might have had several random "slight" variations of the same chart, forcing players to play the song over and over with the chance of predicting whether they are playing the right version.
Now players have a slight chance when playing that the game will then crash and not save their scores, forcing players to once again play with the hopes of not crashing
Look on the brightside folks, atleast there is no new 19 yet

That problem hasn't happened in Japan AFAIK (nor the mouse cursor bug, though I always did want to see that in person

Oops, let me add that to my growing list of places without X3 and/or eAmuse.

Actually, Australia has an X3 with E-amuse now (Galactic Circus at Crown in Melbourne). And... they have the scores-not-saving bug too. I've passed Revolultion Standard single 3 times now and not once has my score for that been on the Internet Ranking page, yet I have scores saved for both Evolved single difficulties.
It's a pity too, 'cause otherwise X3's been marvellous all around.

It is, I think it's built off an old JP Supanova I or II. The pads are still decent (as opposed to every US SNII cab I've played on over here, which is at least 4) and the cab's had e-amuse readers for ages which are only now getting use. Unfortunately, the arcade does have connection problems from time to time (the machine uses a wireless receiver which does sometimes drop out and cause issues) and there is the aforementioned course-saving-issue. But it's still a step up from most everything else available.

@Pumpkinetics: Don't you guys also have a Japanese dedicab? Is that e-amuse connected too?
@Seishinbyou: Do you know DDRKOU from youtube? He's one of the few japanese DDR players that upload videos taken from a classic cabinet (a line-out setup one, at that). Maybe he has encountered it.

It should be Asian cab. And New Zealand should has the e-Amuse too. Since the X3 cab warning more or less say this:
WARNING: Do not use this machine outside Japan, *insert some Asian countries*, Australia and New Zealand.
EDIT:
See the video at 0:47. This video contains the warning that say: "The game is for sell and use in Asia, Australia and New Zealand excluding Japan and Mainland China."
RE-EDIT:
credit to ddrray for the vid.

Not that I know of. What we do have is a single X2 US dedicab that we got last july. It was great up until about a week after the last US unlock, and the pads have never been decent since. Alas.

I believe it's in part due to picking Valkyrie Dimension on Challenge for the Final Stage and the game pretty much saying "screw it, if you can pass this, I'll let you slip to the Extra Stage".Mystery solved :v

Remember that Extra Stage requires a certain amount of those stars (9 if I remember correctly), and they carry over between sessions on eAmuse, so he could have had enough even before playing Valkyrie dimension.
I'm pretty sure that's how it works.
