Yeah, but there are still a fair number of the stepcharts are already up on youtube (and more on niconico douga) on most difficulties. Just search for "DDR X2" and one of "ESP" (Expert Single), "CSP" (Challenge Single), "DSP" (Difficult Single), "BSP" (Basic Single) or for double, replace the "S" with a "D"

haha i played on the Troc machine today and it won't be that bad, you insert your credit, choose Pro Mode, choose Single and you're at the song select screen.

also the drift didn't affect my play TOO much, i managed to get AA FC on a couple songs (albeit 10-12s) but the only time it was really noticable was on Second Heaven Oni.
I dunno, maybe it's been improved or maybe i suck at DDR. it's probably the latter.
also how do you get to the name entry screen when you get a new local record? i got a few but was never given the opportunity

Yeah, it seems to be random when you get a local record, sometimes it pops up, sometimes it don't. Hopefully gets sorted when the final version comes but I'm not holding my breath if they can't even sort the timing drift out.

This might be a dumb question, but:

When was Valkyrie Dimension ever shown to be a level 18? As far as I know, a song's difficulty is only shown on the song wheel, and VD doesn't actually appear there.

They can view the difficulties on the e-AMUSEMENT MOBILE service on their phones.

Where has the X2 been put in Troc, they took the X out?

For those wondering about the "black one" RINON talks about, it could also be translated as "dark one". Here is what RINON says about the dark one in one of the RINON Question Corners:

"The dark one...they look just like me.

It's a long story, but I have to stop the dark one. That is my purpose"

It's pretty clear to me that the "dark one" is the RINON we see during Valkyrie Dimension. But there's still a question about who her "master" is and what exactly the story is with the other RINONs we see in the REPLICANT-D-ACTION songs. Interestingly, during the video for Valkyrie Dimension, we see armies of different colored RINONs marching in time. Perhaps the "master" got a little too carried away making these robots and had to build RINON to destroy them all....THROUGH DANCING.

In any event, it's already beating the hell out of the Street Master Mode's storyline .

On a sad note, NAOKI has been struck ill and has to have surgery. Let's all keep him in our thoughts and wish him a speedy recovery .

I will RAGE if this isn't in the CS DDR, man WHY must the AC team make better storylines than the CS team? >__>

This is very sad news, I hope he recovers quickly and can return to being his energetic self. Did he mention how long he expects to be in the hospital? Hopefully it is a brief stay.

He said it is outpatient surgery, so it's probably nothing too serious. Hopefully he gets lots of rest though.
