DDR X2 (AC) (International)

On Halloween I will be hosting a DDR X2 tournament in Taipei called "X2 Beats and Halloween Treats". I'm surprised they're really cool about it. Some of you have seen how touraments work differently in Taiwan in the past. However, I'm making this one more like an american one. It should be a lot of fun and I'll try to get some good videos. For details on the rules and how to play I might make a different thread so I don't get this one off topic. I hope it all goes well.

well X1 had timing issues for a long time, and for all the beta tests in london if i remember right.
so i think we can chill out for now. i, personally, am not worried at all about the possibility of the final version having timing issues

She might be referring to Dark Rinon, because Aitsu is a detorgatory word, and therefore isn't necessarily gender-specific.

Although for the sake of argument, Rinon probably hates black people.

If it's anything like every other DDR World Record Attempt so far, it'll be on Basic Difficulty, Event Mode, 15-minute breaks every 45-minutes, and failing any ammount of songs won't matter, as long as he selects another song after continues playing afterwards.

"The difficulty increases every five hours from Beginner to Expert, and his only respite will be a five-minute break every hour. If his life bar expires, he fails the challenge."

God though that means he'll play almost EVERY song on that machine... from basic to expert.

Should be hilarious when he gets to the boss songs. Unless he's allowed to skip those.

He also has a 2-3 minute break between the sets haha. Seriously though it takes forever. (e-amuse screen, password, stats, rival, edit data, mode, style, game...) But probably the machine wont say anything about e-amuse. I still kinda miss 4th mix and after 2 clicks your at the song menu.

I also wonder how I could be invovled in an official WR attempt but you proably need to be doing it for a cause like this guy. Either I'm sure I can probably go 24 hours of ddr on expert. My only request would be to save my e-amuse scores

Does anyone know what the text on the top bar of Group album art says? I know the bottom strip says SERIES FOLDER, but what about the top bar? (English or Japanese is fine, I just can't tell at all from the youtube videos I've looked at)

There is something bothering me since a saw the news on zenius (but since you started a discusion aout this here i can talk about it).

Title says 13 hours marathon right ?

So that means :
hour 0 : beginner
hour 5 : basic
hour 10 : difficult
hour 13 : marathon over ?
When will he play expert or challenge then ?
Even if he plays only beginner/basic/difficult that's still a very hard challenge.

Also, i don't know how he could clear this challenge if he plays on expert. The boss song will kill him obviously.


Dr.D : Yeah this could be great. I know i couldn't do this so i do my own little challenge. Like the time i tried to get 15k perfect on ddr extreme arcade. That was fun. I think i can't do that on X, unless i note the number after EVERY song but sure i'll forgot many many times... (on previous mix you can do this at the end with the total).

That might be his goal, but the world record only requires you to play the game on the easiest difficulty, for 45 minutes out of every hour. It's so mundane that I guess you may as well set your own goals as well, especially if you're doing it for charity,

Unless he would be playing doubles and going all out in free-style, then it would not be something to watch.
