Lol, be careful guys, you're deleting too many table tags which is screwing up the forum layout.

And yes, to hell with Betson. Evil

ANON is legion, they nevar forgive, nevar forget, etc etc, so if they got onto Betson I think we'd get e-amuse pretty quickly. Too bad they don't have a reason to get onto Betson. Sad

And as far as our arcade getting SN2, it seems they don't even know what's going on or that SN2 is even available. I'm probably just stuck now with SN1 for a few more weeks now. Mad Also, I recorded more than 20 new scores tonight on the printable score sheet (with about 5 AA's), and my friend accidentally took it home. Evil

This thread is too gloomy.

On the bright side: I've finally gotten to the point where I can AA most 5-7's, and some 8's. Very few 9's, but most notably Matsuri Japan. Big Grin More bright side: I passed 4 challenge courses! Is that masochistic or what?

hey...i just got news that the Disney Quest in Lake Buena Vista, FL just upgraded one of their machines to SN2...they haven't showed any pictures of it YET, but apparently their saying they have it...

then this means that SN2 has reached Florida! yay! Big Grin

now i may be wrong...though i don't see that there can be TWO Disney Quests because i checked already and so far there's only one...and that one is in Lake Buena Vista, FL. I've been there once, really fun, all arcade machines in there are free (for 35 bucks to pay in the front entrance, not bad of a deal) plus extra things that are cool...

but more importantly, SN2 has somehow reached Florida...soooo im guessing i should be seeing an upgraded version of SN2 in my gameworks sometime early next month? lets hope so! Happy

Wow, on SN2 i have trouble A'ing a lot of stuff that i can usually AA (on extremeAnnoyed). They really toughened the grading scale apparently, at least with A's...

Also, no big suprise but im just confirming that the machine in Mesa AZ does in fact have the same machine number as all the others

You know, I was thinking that maybe releasing a patch disc again is not such a wise business move for Konami. I can see arcade managers going "WHAT?! ANOTHER DISC FOR FIXING? WHY CAN'T THIS PEOPLE GET THEIR GAMES RIGHT FROM THE FIRST TIME?", and then something terrible could happen like, they'll start supporting PIU insteadDead.

This is why I think Konami MUST implement an alternate unlock method for the next game, since e-amuse will probably not come, ever.

I think e-Amuse will come to America, but the resign why it's not hear now is the American arcades are not a pop. as arcades in japan.

There going to keep the songs locked in tell profit for the machines start going to hell (and it looks like it already is) then to get money back, we'll get are unlocks.;) but for now let's be patient. i got a felling that if we what, it will pay off in the end.Smile

Does anybody think of a different way to unlock all the songs like a cheat code or something? I heard there is a possibility of a code that can unlock all the songs and courses in SN2 but that is just speculation!

We recently got a new Sn2 dedicab in town and bacon took a trip to check it out and sent me an interesting picture of a sub-menu in the Operators Menu...

User Image

I couldn't get too many details from him but from the looks of it, it may be a restriction menu like Pump. I guess the main point I'm trying to make is to look at the last 6 songs on the list.

What I would like to know (maybe AceJay could try it?) is what would happen if every regularly playable song on the machine was turned off, with all the locked content turned on. I was wondering if it would default to one of the locked songs, maybe? It's certainly worth trying.

Also, AceJay, do you know/could you find out what kind of ports (COM, USB, etc.) attach to the SN2's hard drive? My guess is that you would have to unscrew and open the back of the upper or lower cabinet to find out.

A simpler concept I was also curious about is, will the game run if you eject the disk and try to play it without it?

Have anyone tried changing the internal clock on the machine? If the songs are unlocked after a certain amount of time, then maybe by moving the clock a year or two into the future will unlock the missing songs.

Can someone with enough access to the machine try this?

I'll try both when I get a chance.

It takes a fucklong time to boot up though.
