Source on removals please?

In all of my DDR thinking, I just hope it doesen't dissapoint me because it's difficult enough but I do wish they make it accurate. Also, It looks great, And I also hope they also make the steps decent.

I can confirm Angelus. The rest I didn't notice because I didn't go into the X folder.

Angelus was a great stepchart on single and double (I didn't like the vocals as much as the music) but it has been around since SN2 which is very old now. Most players are done with the song anyways.

I didn't see in your points post anything about removals and revivals.

But as far as e-motion in the 2nd mix folder, wasn't it in that folder in X2? Or did the other few remaining Club Version songs get moved to a different folder? (Club Ver. beatmania or beatmania IIDX?)

i'm upset about the removal of "Feel" by Neuropa. That was a groovy song.

About the removals... What happened with the horrendous "Baile la Samba"?

What about the licensed LH Music Creation version of La Bamba? No one seemed to notice that it was still in X2...

That's because nobody likes it. <_<

True. There was no reason for there to be two versions anyway, and the Extreme version's more DDR-able.

The only removal I'm sad about is Put 'Em Up.

They probably won't remove the La Bamba by LH MUSIC CREATION because it isn't a true license. It is based on folk music and can't be copy written, right?

Check the game credits, if it's listed there it's probably a license.

The LH Music Creation version is licensed. There's a copyright on the lyrics.

The instrumental version from DDR Extreme is royalty-free. The sole reason it's there (and still there in DDR X2) is so that DDR gameplay can be shown on commercial television, without the broadcasting company having to pay any royalties..

How about the Dancemania revivals (Butterfly, Dub-I-Dub, Get Up N' Move)?
Will those get removed too? It would be so sad to see some of those good licenses removed too

Dang they remove licenses way too early this time. U Can't Touch This was one of my favorites. And I don't want Dancemania revivals to be removed way too early.

When DDR X2 was announced, I thought that only Supernova licenses would disappear but it turns out even Supernova 2 licenses also disappeared. It was pretty cool that Supernova licenses made it all the way to X though...

I guess I'll only miss ANGELUS from that removal list, so it's not terrible for me.
