@neotheone: kindly please read my previous post:
I don't expect anything new/favorable when transcoding audio. Just happened that i don't have time searching for better orig audio when you have done your Mei simfile. That's why i came up with your ogg.
@ ArcticWolve: thanks for your understanding.
EDIT:
- going up banner added.

You converted the .ogg file to .mp3? So without saving space or improving compatibility you decreased the audio quality? What for?
I know it's not space saving but I just follow the standard in official DDR simfile making here in z-i-v. Don't worry, I don't transcode directly from ogg or the original file in general. I converted the ogg first (or the original file) to raw wav format before transcoding to mp3 320kbps format. So the audio quality should not decrease at least from the original file. That's my way.
Cons for not making it to mp3 320 kbps is because there are times when i cannot snap/track the desired time for sample music start, especially for 192 and below kbps quality.
The point is that .ogg is either better quality at the same size or the same quality at a smaller size. I made a detailed post on this before, because there is no reason to intentionally stick with .mp3 but every reason to move to .ogg. Every version of StepMania decodes .ogg and several versions (in the groove anything for example) doesn't support .mp3.
As for bad snapping at low quality... well, what you did essentially lowered the quality. If you're going to arbitrarily hike up the bitrate, just do that to the .ogg instead. I'm pretty sure the snapping issue is for low bitrate .mp3s, not .oggs.
I'm not saying that you need to start converting the whole library to .ogg, just that since the file was already properly formatted there was no reason to mess with it. That's like taking a 640x480 background and reformatting it at 320x240 in the name of dated standards.

Also you missed Mei D-
again. Third time's the charm?

Just because you post a YouTube video doesn't mean it'll go into the database instantly. Maybe he can't get around to coding all the charts because he, I dunno, has a life?

Silly, I also appreciate the work you're doing. Don't get me wrong. Taking a finished file and recoding it for aesthetics only just doesn't make any sense. Especially since the original file is a model of where the simfiles should be move TO.

Thanks for your understanding
EDIT:
actually i'm in favor of using ogg files cuz i know it can be directly used for the ITG machines without any hassle. All my simfile collection here are all oggs. Just happened that i'm basing to what z-i-v official ddr simfile standard which are mostly mp3 320kbps.

Yeah, but I didn't post a YouTube video, I posted a complete SM chart.

As a student in the middle of midterms I found the 10 minutes to transcribe a video into SM so I'm sure you'll understand why I'm inquiring why sillybear isn't copying and pasting a block of text when he clearly had time to code an entire chart (going up) himself...

Same difference, he may just be too busy. Grats on your level 80 time management skills.

I think you know quite well there is a huge difference between transferring a YouTube video into the ziv simfile database and transferring a block of text from a SM file into the ziv simfile database.
I'll even show you right now!

btw, is Mei's BPM correct already? If it isn't, just see Kynayo's simfiles.

Poseidon and KISS KISS KISS remixes (along with Pierce The Sky) were released for download on mobile phones in Japan...if only someone could get those online somewhere...
And apparently our Chinese versions of Nijiiro and iFuturelist were only previously accessed by glitch and have since been patched up.
EDIT: and what exactly is the improvement of the lineouts updated for Shiny World and Anti-Matter? I don't hear much a big difference.
I bet the guy who was playing the course from the lineout vid was pissed losing his FC on VD at the end

(mobile mode)
i also noticed. Too bad my internet sched is over. I think the difference from the previous is the very end of song where a full combo sound effect is heard. I will increase the decibel in these when i return 18 hours later to increase the sound, because what i did was just normalizing them. Since i usually do them for line-out audio.
Again, sorry.
