I don’t know exactly, but KCET (Konami Computer Entertain of Japan) makes all the AC mixes up Intel Extreme. All the Ultamix and Universe songs are form KCEA (Konami Computer Entertain of America). As for SN and SN2, It might be some other people. You can notice a big step change between Extreme and SuperNOVA 1 & 2.

Apparently some of the KCEA staff did some charts for SN2. Angelus is the only one that I can remember that was allegedly done by them, but I think there are others.

You can look at the Staff Comment sections of the SN/SN2 websites to see some of the Japanese step makers.

EDIT: SN2 appears only to have one step designer credited while SN had three. This TAG fellow is the only one who came over from SN.

I think they also did that with EX2, but I could be wrong.

Inconsistantly, yes

Extreme 2 did this, one of the Ultramixes did it, beyond that I don't remember which ones. Typically the bundle hits a few weeks before the game only release so Konami can move as many cheap vinyl pads as they can. I'm guessing they see too many people waiting just for the game to put off sales like that anymore.

A few weeks? I thought it was a few days before the game itself came out, like 2. I think it's a good idea to have the bundle and the game out on the same day.

Oh yeah! Same here... I gave suggestions for it, and I hope that they got through.

Two of them were simfiles that I have here at the boards, Anisakis -Somatic Mutation Type Forza-, and ErASeRmoTor maXimUM.

Another two suggestions I had were to:
A) add 24th and 32nds for edit mode.
B) allow people to choose beginner, light, standard, heavy and challenge, while playing edits, incase the person doesn't want to play the edit.
