That new London
chart is crap compared to the Wii version.

They changed London Evolved's good
but kept the DDR I/II crappy charts?
Bemani does weird things sometimes.

Well that afronova-walk at the end of London Evolved
IS pretty intense.

Perhaps Tohoku would have been easier if that London
chart was revealed first? They look similar enough (minus the drastic bpm changes).

I am crazy impressed with both Trip Machine Evolved
and PARANOiA Revolution
. They look incredibly fun without being stupid difficult. It also helps that the gate crash sound in Revolution was so nicely timed with a jump.

Yeah, that sucks that they trashed the amazing Challenge chart. Funny thing is that the one thing they didn't change was the slowdown part (the only bit I didn't like in Version A). Agree with the others, they should have just moved everything down and trashed the original Beginner chart.
Not that it matters since I'll never be playing an X3 machine, but that is really crap. Leave it to all the demand for difficulty to ruin a chart that was helping make a better bridge to the 17s.

There were lots of um, "interesting" charts in DDR II but getting rid of one of the good ones makes no sense.

I felt the urge to bold that and crank the size up, cuz some people need to know better.
I can't say it better than that anyway.

It's possible that the Extra Stage version of Paranoia Revolution is the Challenge, and the 18-foot Heavy chart is a harder one that we haven't seen befoere (aka Kakumei or Sakura)

Step up your game instead of being whiny bitches. You look less stupid that way. Want more "bridges"? Well CREATE THEM, that's what edits are for. Even Brosoni makes them because apparently Konami's charts aren't hard enough.

That's so true.
It's hard to imagine what DDR players would be like without Stepmania or Edit Mode.

X3 has plenty of 15s and only one actual 17 (two now with London EVOLVED). Cool your horses. Play OUTER LIMITS a few times if you really miss it, it's pretty much the same thing.

^Proving the exact point of anyone who's complained about the continued scarcity of 14s, 15s, and 16s in DDR.
Yes, Edit mode exists, but shouldn't it be up to the game designers and not the players to make it remotely reasonable to beat the content they create?

The game designers try to please everyone yet you people still keep nitpicking every little aspect of the game in hopes of finding flaws and magnifying them like they are totally breaking the game just to...uhh... get attention? I don't even know anymore.
DDR Community in 2002: THERE AREN'T ENOUGH 10 FOOTERS!
DDR Community in 2012: THERE AREN'T ENOUGH BRIDGES FOR
Not even fighting games can claim that they are perfectly balanced, you just learn to deal with the issues and TRY TO HAVE FUN WITH THE GAME. I can't believe there are people who still can't get over Paranoia Hades

The average player won't become good enough at the game to even TOUCH that chart.

PARANOiA REVOLUTION
looks like a pretty decent chart. I've always liked the Standard charts of Boss Songs.

Just as a quick final point to my argument about the difficulty levels, I believe that players who want 17s and 18s are suffering from the current way of doing things as well.
Consider the 6 RDA songs before Valkyrie Dimension. Three 14s and three 17s. The three 17s have Challenge charts that are 18s while the 14s have none. Because of this, there are three songs that are unplayable by people who can't handle above 14s (not counting Standard charts which are extreme on their own) and three songs that are unfavorable for players who want the hardest of the hard. However, if they had made all six songs 14 or 15 difficulty and given them all Challenge charts, both players would have access to all six. I don't see Shiny World having a 17 on Challenge, but they could have chosen any songs for RDA, since Shiny World, Pierce the Sky, and Sakura Sunrise don't really 'sound' like boss songs the way that Anti-Matter and New Decade do.
This is what I would like to see more of in DDR, as well as more low difficulty songs (like 10s, 11s, 12s) having more 13/14/15 Challenge charts. The reason why the "average player" will not ever touch Flower Challenge is because the difficulty curve doesn't encourage them to do so.
I guess that wasn't a quick final point, but that should sum up my thoughts nicely.
