looks pretty good, although that speed up before it starts going all 'badla way budly woo we doo woo' seems to go a bit far forward compared to the other noe.
DEFINITELY more on sync than the previous one though. Love it.

After over 30 plays I FINALLY got Roppngi Version D!!!
My set was normal though like any other set and I didn't wait for timers to go down or anything. I just hope I get it more often cause 1 out of 30 something is a bit ridiculous.


Where can I find a list of all the removed songs for X2? I need to update the card draw system I posted earlier with an X2 list but first I need to know all the removed songs.

Bit off topic, but I might have an idea on how to get a difficulty other than expert on VD.

First of all, in previous arcade games, you get the level of final/extra/encore extra stage depending on what difficulty you play the first two rounds. For example, say I played Fire Fire on Basic on first stage and Gold Rush on Basic for my second. For your final stage, you would have an unlocked song on Basic, clearing that would unlock Extra Stage on Basic, then Encore Extra Stage on basic. Make any sense?

I can see where you're going with this, sure. And, IIRC, you can still get the medals for clearing the RDA songs on or , so there shouldn't be a reason to not find it on lower difficulties.

Adding to what Dr. D already debunked, the current Extra stage system isn't really based on the scale anymore. It's possible to play and AA all songs (say, 4 11s) and still only get Kimono princess on (and today I'm going to test the alternative, with P.Hades and 3 13s). Coupled with that, as far as I can tell, you will only access Encore Extra Stage if you pass Kimono Princess on , although I gather you can then play Roppongi Evolved on .

I'm still not sure as to the mechanics of Replicant D. Action (damn lack of Australian E-Amuse servers) but I do know VD is thrown at you without the option to change anything (much like how EES was done originally on Max-Supernova, but without the discomforting locked songwheel), and -as of yet- only on Expert.

Believe me though, when VD becomes available, we'll know. It took japan what, 3 hours? To find AAAing an obscure Extreme-era song unlocked a special remix.

Our top 5 is on that deleted list Anyway besides Centerfold, DYNAMITE RAVE (Down Bird SOTA Mix), and TWO MONTHS OFF. It has got rid of a bunch of crap songs. Also I think justice was done when Faint got the boot.

Also on the World Record, are they using a crap conversion cab or a new JP one?

From what I read on the PDF they're using a US/EU cab, but this may be a new, "near-complete" version.

Wow, this can only mean good news for the EU release, and for seeing a machine in Troc sometime soon. I'm excited for that event, i'll definitely come along for a short while to check it out!

They kept Angelus, because was licensed from Avex, and is probably still covered by the new, lucrative deal they signed for Jubeat.

Two Months Off is licensed from some tiny garage somewhere in Wales.

I like how my rating dropped 16 points for dissing Angelus with the insult it needed.

While we are on the boot subject, why was Faint so badly arranged? I mean, it sounds like the vocalist had issues with his voice. Also, I'm sad that Centerfold is gone, despite it being overplayed, because the fact that it is sort of a memento to Captain Jack. At least grandale mix came back to fill that place, though. XD

I notice though that license that are usually arcade-exclusive are rarely discussed. Makes me want to go play Me Against The Music again at my local arcade.

But off to the old subject....

Talk of revivals, yes? You think X2 will surprise us with anymore new songs or revivals, or this is it?

I'm still waiting on a Strictly Business revival. I doubt this is going to be it, because the Internet Ranking is still going, and look how it surprised us with songs like Aftershock. More Universe 3 revivals/IIDX crossovers at the end of this one would make me very happy.

I want Honey Punch back. I loved its charts. *is complaining even though the newest DDR in my town is SuperNOVA and also knows they'll never upgrade anyways*

Overall, I'm really satisfied with the crossover selection this mix. Although, Gold Rush's chart was a slight let down.
One thing I wish Konami did in this mix is crossover some songs from the Ultramix series. That and maybe some from the past Universe titles.

Two Months Off is by far my most missed song. About 5 or 6 others I was really dissapointed were cut.
