Soul Calibur IV crashed on me a couple of hours ago. I was doing Tower Of Lost Souls, beat an enemy, and then my TV screen became dark green and it froze.

Rap artists aren't the only ones who are guilty of butchering great songs. Remember DJ Sammy's version of Heaven that used to be on the radio all the time? The original Bryan Adams version was great, and is actually one of my favorite songs of all time. However, the DJ Sammy version just completely sucked. Mainly because I couldn't stand the chick's voice but the generic synths were annoying too.

I tried to sync my stepmania to a song. A song that is perfectly synced down to the millisecond.

As some of you may have heard, my external hard drive finally kicked the bucket a few days ago...along with all of my media. Music, movies, games, simfiles (all 3000 of them)...everything gone. Luckily, i have the majority of my music backed up on my mp3 player. But theres a lot of hard to get stuff that I lost and I was not happy at all. I'm getting a new 1TB external in the mail soon though. Hopefully that holds up for me. 7200 rpm western digital. So yeah...

I also got my keyboardmania stuff in the mail today. Got a KOC and both KBM's for 90 bucks, which is a really good deal. The game is so fun...but so hard. No wonder this game died. Too many keys and closed together make it difficult for a newbie. I do try to use my techniques that I've learned in my piano lessons, but it's just so...ugh in some parts. Best I can do so far is Midori no Kaze [r] and Least 100 Seconds [l+] with a B on each of them.

I got back from a kind of good bye party. Fun, yet in the end, depressing. I had to sit in my car and let it kind of soak in for a while.

About cartoon network.

That channel has gone downhill. They should've also taken away Toonami (more like Sentainami, when all it ever airs now is various series of Power Rangers one after another) when they killed it in the United States.

I loved watching the 4Kids Dub of beyblade, Crushgear, etc. and be surprised that they are so different from what the local
channel airs (like baylade having an entirely different opening, renaming characters like yuri to tala and giving a laptop the ability to talk).

I still tune in to that channel just for Ben 10. I now get my anime needs from Animax and Hero (a filipino-dubbed anime cable channel).

Bolt-Edge: I feel your pain with losing possibly gigs of personal files. I still feel skeptical if I can trust my new external hard drive (250 GB, Toshiba).

Must be your version of the channel, cause ours doesn't air Power Rangers or its brethren (Power Rangers is on ABC). The American version, IMHO, has gone downhill the moment they added a live-action show.

Name ONE corny anime show on that channel, 'cause I can't think of one (except maybe Pokemon, because it's abnormally long (600+ episodes)).

Argh, Soul Calibur IV crashed on me again. This time I was doing Tira's story. The SECOND I got a hit on the first enemy, screen goes black.

The dubs for the first 20-or-so episodes have been made, but hasn't aired on TV yet. However, the first 4 dubbed episodes are on the iTunes Store, the first of which, "Homecoming", is free.

The only thing I find corny about Naruto is the filler...90 episodes of filler.

Besides, most of the anime I watch are on Adult Swim on Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Could it be the disc? Check for scratches and/or cracks.

Oh hey it's scratched all over, I really need to take better care of all my stuff.

Living people need to leave the dead celebs alone!

I suddenly miss Duel Masters. It started off looking like just another "promote a toy/card game/whatever" anime, but the parody dubbing made it so fucking awesome.


Yeah, you do. Soul Calibur 4's a damn good game, you shouldn't just let it get hacked up so much.

I'm aware of that. There's still Soul Calibur III, which is also amazing.

Nope. The filler EPs sucked so bad. I also think this was the death of Toonani. They put all of there chips on Naruto and was good for awhile, then the filler EPs came and that was the end of that. I think Naruto got canned a little after Tonnani going down in the US. I was watching a bit of Shippuden online, but it's turn to crap like the old Naruto did.

And putting all the old classics like Popeye and the Scooby Doo shows on Boomerang. And yes, Sentainami is only here, I still say it should've been burned when it died in the US .

And Naruto, nobody seems to rant about how long the series is turning out when I google let's say "naruto criticisms." Only Encyclopedia Drammatica seems to agree with me on that.

EDIT: Is should've a real word. Firefox 3.5 says that it should've been shouldn't, shoulder, should or would've.

side-note: It's currently the only PS3 game I have played in which I stand a chance at beating others in. Good thing IV doesn't stray too far from the control system from II

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh!: I don't think it's too long, but they have been pretty good at keeping viewers interested lately IMO. It is a shame, however, that the second arc (GX) was cut short just to start on the third arc (5D's).

Re: Naruto: I don't even know if I care about Naruto anymore. After Toonami died, Cartoon Network tried to put something in its place (some lousy cartoon movie in "Action Flicks") and if there was time, they would show the next new episode of Naruto. This continued for a while until that fell out and Naruto disappeared, Rasengan and all. What's sad about it is that there were about 10 episodes left until the entire Naruto arc was over, therefore opening the way to Shippuden. At least they are now available on dubhappy.com AFAIK, but I don't know if I will watch them.

Re: Power Rangers: I'm still surprised to say that I still watch it, in all of its ever-increasing... um...what's the word? Oh yes, thank you Oni. Anyway, the current season (RPM) intrigues me in particular because of the...um...tension (yeah, that works) between some of the rangers, not to mention that one of the rangers is Scottish. I find it funny because they try so hard, but it almost screams "You Suck At LIFE!!!" (I was saying that a lot during the recent new episode; don't know why, but it seemed appropriate.)

I think I have all bases covered. Oh yeah, I saw that event in the "Enemy List" thread. I missed a bit of a show, didn't I?
