"OMG KON!" |
I am giving you guys a heads up.
The DDR X location test is now over at Brunzwick Zone Naperville in Illinois. It was overall a huge disappointment in all honesty. The timing window was wrong, e-amuse was not on, the music list was tiny. And worst of all the machine is in bad condition. It was the worst location test I ever attended.
I know many of the problems have nothing to do with Konami, and I know its a test, but seriously, it was TERRIBLE. At least I know the game will be 1000 times better when its running on a dedicab.

Hahaha, sounds exactly like the Jersey Gardens Test Location. Our dedicab there is iffy on occasion and the timing lags behind a little as well.
I mean, for what it is, it's fun, but there's nothing pushing me to go out of my way to play DDR X at the moment. Give us some more songs, and I'll be happy with it.

When the... what... how... Since when did the dancers actually DANCE to the music like that??? That's was awesome! It reminded me of some the routines from Space Channel 5 Part 2, that's the best improvement to an existing DDR element EVER!

I can pretty much imagine the characters dancing to any song within reason.

Oh! the routine is fantastic.
The dance rountines are one of the new features that I most like from DDR X.

At the risk of fueling the "DDR is not real dance" fire, nope. Which, in a way, it isn't, since a lot of physical stuff doesn't come easily to me and DDR has a more theoretical aspect to it.

I'm with RoyBoyCF on this one. If I don't have arrows, I don't know what to do.
And if there's music, and someone's dancing to it, I lose interest if there aren't any arrows.

I had been wondering about all of the dance routines for the new songs. Some of them seem pretty good, yet most seem wick-a-wick wickety-wick-e-wicky wack. It makes me wonder about the remaining songs yet to be unlocked having decent quality moves to them...

That's because not all the new songs have dance routines, only certain ones do. Others use a kind of "random" dance routine, but not as random as the ones used for old songs.

Is that the only song so far that has a unique routine or are there more?
