Yeah, I've heard something about that... Then again, what I heard was about the X2 US CS release. IIRC, you take the difficulty of the two previous stages and divide the sum of their difficulties by three. The remainder determines which roppongi version you play. No remainder = version A, remainder 1 = version B, and remainder 2 = version C.
I.E.)
"Yellow" Candy = 13
Decade = 11
Total = 24, divided by three = no remainder, Ver. A
Poseidon remix = 14
Decade = 11
Total = 25, divided by three = remainder one, Ver. B
Fire Fire = 14
Blind Justice = 12
Total = 26, divided by three = remainder two, Ver. C
Now that there's a version D, this is probably thrown out the window. Maybe dividing all four previous stages by four and taking the remainder would work? Don't know if it'll, but it's just speculation. :\
Well, since roppongi Evolved is locked at Encore Extra Stage, maybe it's dividing all previous stages by four?I.E.)

Someone could always test this out by playing the same five songs in a row on multiple credits.

There isn't one. All 632 steps have been shown.
Right before the speedup death run, the combo is 599. There are 33 steps in the run:
LDLD RDRD LDLD LULU RURU LULD LDLU DRLD U(freeze).

I didn't see it. Apparently 370 is fast enough to blur steps in most videos. :O

My style is always 14 13 13. My roppongi version is appearing randomly... Maybe I'll try again tonight to reconfirm.

That said, there hasn't been much feedback on the issue yet. I hope it's being given in person because if we end up with sync issues then I know EVERYONE will be bitching about it. It'll be SN 1 and X all over again.

I don't think so. Some Dr.d's video has some fps issues. He'll try to fix that in the next videos (it seems there is no problem on the video posted above. Maybe because you didn't did any montage isn't it ?). 629... whoa almost.Why all this negs about hmfboy23 ? Sure he is quoting something and doesn't add anything, but he has a point : not enough feedback yet.
Like 8ftmetalhead said, i'll be pissed too if this happend.
I'm playing X every two weeks now. I'm enjoying the cab even with the screen lag issues. But i know that i will enjoy it 10 times more with a perfect cab. X2 is by far much better, i really hope they will fix it for everyone.
Just don't count on me to travel 500km only to play X2, i don't have so much money :s

I used to use cyber link and I changed it.
Now I'm using Corel. Please check out the following video and tell me if you think the FPS is any better. If its not then its probably a camera setting. As always feedback is welcome.

So lucky to have played roppongi EVOLVED again and version C finally appeared! I have finally experienced playing the 4 roppongi EVOLVEDS!!!
here's my songlist during my first 3 stages and got access to roppongi EVOLVED ver. C on my ENCORE...
on the bounce -Challenge- = 16
Flow -Jammin Ragga Mix- = 13
will = 11
for a sum of 40.
I'll do this set again and see if ver C. appears again.

The following is my guess about the secret of roppongi evolved in DDRX2 arcade:
The disc jacket of different versions of roppongi evolved have different colors (The sky, the symbol and the man in the middle)
Ver.A is RED, Ver.B is GREEN, Ver.C is BLUE, and Ver.D is YELLOW
What if the chance of getting each version of roppongi evolved is determined by the colors on the disc jackets of each of the songs in 1st stage ~ final stage?
The data about kakumei (x-special) x3 will have 50% chance lead to roppongi evolved ver.D matches this, since the disc jacket of kakumei (x-special) has yellow as the main color.

What if's are all well and good, but if you don't have any proof of them they've not really got a point to them.

Sounds like a bit of an abstract idea anyway. I'm not too sure konami would go to so great a length to change 1 song around its 4 different versions.
I mean hell, it could just be a random generation deal and you're just all lucking out.

Is anyone smart at math can could tell me the odds of not picking D 20 times in a row when choices are even between A-D?
I did a little experiment and got 4 cards A-4 and picked one randomly 20 times in a row. They all had roughly even numbers which was to be expected.

The odds of NOT picking D 20 times in a row? That's 0.75^20. Which is about 3.1%.

I thought I had it, but then I suck at maths so I won't post it because it's wrong.
