Only reason why I brought up IIDX and SDVX was because the fanbase for both games have begun to see more popularity in the States, plus given the fact that IIDX PENDUAL and SDVX III have been 'ok'd' by Konami to be brought over to Round1 locations pretty much makes them the only BEMANI games that have a chance of getting a good following here in the West.

And still no word on when they will bring DDR back to Round1 due to licenses and other back-end deals.

So Rinon has an arch nemesis or possibly an evil twin or clone judging from the poster? It's quite a staple for a sequel to something that was great.

See, Konami, it's easy to use your characters to make promotions look really nice and DDR-y as opposed to album art of crossovers and text. Pretty please keep doing it.

I'm just mad that's like a sentence and a half and I can't read it. xP Wonder if Zukin and Concent will come back in some wacky manner, but they probably know Rinon was the most popular out of the non-human bunch. A shame, 'cause I always thought Zukins and Concents were sort of special-DDR-exclusive/ borderline iconic characters.

Now, if only the 20-year-old male characters were ever popular... sigh. Would flip if they did like that one tile event and did cute pictures of everybody though just please don't consistently pair Zero up with Ruby you can't do this to me after X2

BUT I keep forgetting this is only Rinon-centric so far. It cccould be another Yuniverhills ehh event but why be a killjoy about it before it even starts? xP

I agree. The Zukin and Concent characters seem pretty underrated, in my opinion. It's like I'm the only one who really likes those characters (and which is why I make fan art of them the most).

OK, we finally have some more dirt on the event.

-To clarify on Truare: unlocking the song is a prerequisite to starting the event.

-(I don't know Japanese, so let me know if I get some of this stuff wrong) There are 5 NITRO meters that you fill up by completing certain conditions, once these are filled, you get a shot at a song of the corresponding color, and clearing it nets you a gem of the color. Getting all 5 gems will give you one shot at the ultimate boss, which (if it's anything like RDA) will likely reset the gems afterwards.

P.S. Anyone else think the meter and gem screens look very SuperNOVA-ish?

Um, I don't know how if that's 5 nitro bars. Correct me there but aren't there 6 circles in Rinon's suit? I assume that once you get all of 6 gems you'll dance as an EES to the ultimate boss song just like RDA. It wouldn't have a sense to stick the ultimate boss song gem slot with the other 5 normal boss songs.

Also I have no clue if it's going to keep the same format of RDA (3 easier boss songs that combined let you unlock the other 3 harder boss songs) or if it's going to be different. Maybe they'll change things this time?

Nah, I don't think much is going to change. Replicant-D-Action was imo the last good event to be released in the series, and I wouldn't want much to be altered. I think it's just going to be more of the same.

Kind of weird that Truare! is a pre-requisite to Replicant D-ignition, I guess it must be one of the songs you need to play to unlock one of the boss songs.

I do hope the final song is on EES. We haven't had EES enabled since X3.
