Dealing with poor song choices is easier to deal with than not getting anything at all when you were told you would. To be honest the only licenses I like on this game are Animal, Bad Romance, and Plastic Beach. Everything else I don't really like and they just totally wasted space.

It's subjective, a better way to look at it is taking the big nail of what you suggested, and the phantom dlc is fecal matter on the tip make you die a horrible diseased death.

I'm getting bored with their little shenanigans. They need to get serious.

Fair enough, I suppose. I hope we get an answer (if not a resolution) to this DLC mess soon, at any rate. Like I said, I don't own the game yet, but it's still frustrating.

It's sad, the more I think about this. I think I've been the one steadfast supporter of Konami's efforts in North America, through the good and especially through the bad... but this has shaken me a bit. This game isn't even recognizable as Dance Dance Revolution, despite the (generally) familiar gameplay. It looks more like a minimalist theme for Stepmania than DDR, and... well, the poor song choice and not-so-hot charts that I mentioned above.

I know I'm late to the party and not really adding anything, but I've also been absent from the DDR community for a while now. Cut me a break on that much.

I find it disrespectful to people who bought the game because we deserve an explanation about it. If you are not complying with the deadline so do not even announce it on the site. I had to import my game in Miami, because I think that here in Brazil has not, I was expecting a lot to get the game and now I have this disappointment. I hope to see Konami and resolve this situation as soon as possible.

Hopefully Konami is looking into the DLC problem now. Honestly I'm kind of discouraged that the DLC wasn't released also, but lets be patient. They may explain what happened sooner or later. Hopefully sooner.

I'm guessing the MP3's from the disc weren't ripped? I would assume that there would be an MP3 of TO DA JAM otherwise how would it even play in club mode?

Konami is not one for apologies.

They did apologise for the design of US DDR X cabinets. I'm sure we'll have word soon enough (unless DLC goes the way of the originally planned PS3/Xbox DDR)

They were ripped. I don't remember if TO DA JAM is on there because I wasn't able to decode the .at3 format the music came in. I was told you need PSP hardware to do that, and I don't have a hacked PSP.

The true kicker is going to be the European one. And I bet they'll only release the PS3 one here.

I just sent them a letter saying this :

Hi, I just wanted to start off by saying how much I enjoy The Dance Dance Revolution series... but this year has been filled with a seires of let downs. One of which involves the DLC we were promised for this game. Your website states that it will come out the 12th and the 19th. So far there is nothing. I know you guys are an incrediably busy company but i was wondereing if i could recieve some sort of explenation instead of just wondering where the DLC went. I'm sure something happended on Sony's end to not give us our DLC when we were expecting it. COuld you possibly tell me a time window of when we should expect it? Like in the next week or so or if the DLC is canceled? Thanks for all you all do in provideing entertainment to us all. It is greatly appreciated. Just please do us all a favor and bring back the dancing characters in the next instalment of DDR for the PS3
