Gah I just had to switch off PS2 without saving didn't I?
Seems like they added ALICE and JULIO as well, but still doesn't warrant the wait.
what about their alternative costumes? no wait, why am i asking that? from what i've seen Konami Europe do to DDR fans, i'm guessing no. though i don't live in europe, it's idiotic that konami delayed it for a year and there are very few changes that doesn't really require a year delay. Konami Europe, I wish I can slap you in the face! You seriously need a wake up call!

Thing is, is this really Konami Europe's fault? I mean I know since much of the gaming industry is developed in Japan that most of this isn't KOJ's fault and KOE just followed orders?
A clearer question would be: who develops European Dancing Stage releases? Is is solely the European division or do KOJ handle most of it and KOE do the marketing, localisation and similar stuff?

From what I gather, KOJ develops the game and handles the Japan version of the game. KONAMI Europe and KONAMI America handles the song licensing independently.
Another thing to be mad about:

Notice anything missing? They removed INFORMATION from the game too, no artist/song information for EU people either. Seriously, what the hell are they doing? They also have the nerve to put 2008 under the logo too.

That's probably their way of saying "Look see! We did do something during all those months!"

To be fair, this is a pretty average attempt by Konami. Remember MegaMIX and Fever? The only difference is that this time we got a terrible delay instead of a stupidly short song list.

Also what the hell was the point of those PS1 versions?

Considering they sold really badly and had even less songs than the PS2 counterparts, nothing (in the case of Fever [20 songs] and Fusion [15!])That said, Party Edition was (and probably still is) the best DS CS.
WAIT A SECOND!

Workout Mode makes a return, encouraging you to work up a sweat to one of over 70 songs, as does EyeToy support, which introduces hand movements to routines.
Sir, I dismiss your quote as utter bullshite. Good day!Post #472 · Posted at 2008-09-29 07:38:52am 16.8 years ago

A bit off discussion but here are the course banners from SN and SN2... (Thanks to al2k4 for the screen capture,
)
From DancingStage SuperNOVA

From DancingStage SuperNOVA 2

Not that I dislike but really... they really should have just keep the arcade course list instead of these generic banners....

Aha! It took them so long because they couldn't make up their minds about courses.

Don't bother, it's a waste of money when you can get all but one song on SM now.
Also, use BBCode better.

Why Konami removed Information?? (!!!)
Also, I was expecting to see the Cara-Mia video in this game. It looks that it won't be included.

Well, even though I'm not from the UK I have to say I'm pretty disappointed in how this game turned out. I originally had high expectations after seeing DS SN1's licenses. Just cutting and pasting Dancing Stage over DanceDanceRevolution is pretty pathetic. And even removing content? That makes no sense. So only one new song... wow. It's a good song and all, but really? Just one? KOE, get your shit together and give Europe a good game.

They'd just give you some average PR response about taking the time to 'properly localise the game for each particular region', but if you'd like I can give you the real truth: Money.Post #480 · Posted at 2008-09-30 04:32:48am 16.8 years ago

Agreed. Wonder what dumb idiot decided to name the courses this way in the EU games. At least they should've got original course names, like the American versions.
