Outfox works great, just install the Linux version and play. No pain at all. I’ve had it set up for a while now. You need a version that’s actually listed as supported. Picking an unsupported version then wondering why it’s not working is why it’s doing this.

I did play outfox before but moved to normal stepmania lol, also woops didnt realise it was unsupported but yea makes sense now, luckily everything else works perfectly fine so ill prob just keep as is lol

This is a great theme and I have been having tons of fun with it on my home arcade setup.
Question: I've dredged this forum and cannot seem to find the answer. Excuse me if it has been addressed previously.
Is there an option somewhere or perhaps a modification I can make so that combo banners (red, blue, green, yellow, white) are not overwritten by a higher score without a combo banner?
example: I get a great full combo on Hard Brain with a score of 985k but then score a 991k with one miss after. The 991k score takes the top slot and the green banner is no longer visible on the song.
I think the official cabs keep the highest banner earned separately from the highest score earned.

I don’t think it should perform worse. But depending on your specs it could vary. But this theme was originally built for SM5/ITGmania so it might have a few glitches are Outfox due to that game having a very different engine. It is very hard usually to create a theme that works for two separate engines. I pretty sure one of the devs by the name of Squirrel pointed out that Outfox is a Y based game and SM5 is an X based game. Something like that. But the fork you’re using shouldn’t be the culprit it should be the theme itself.

I guess, I'm just happy with where I am at this point with the theme and ITGMania... I just hope the Fail mode issue gets fixed where :End of song fail: gets fixed and I actually don't have to see the fail screen so many times

I tried all three OutFox, Stepmania, and ITGMania. and I get the same error when starting the program. What did I do wrong when I installed the theme?

I have taken this theme and worked on it for the past months and it's way more arcade accurate now.
I've used to post updates to Emuline but I'll have to take it here for more updates.

Would you consider replacing all instances of the Impact font in the theme with Helvetica Compressed? I ask because DDR A3 officially uses the Helvetica Compressed font

Yeah, I just did. It was simply just a matter of adding the font file and replacing _impact with _helvetica-compressed and it's now using Helvetica Compressed instead of Impact.
Seems like Impact was a fallback font or Curilang did not intend the theme to be 100% accurate so that there will be no DMCA request coming from Konami.
That's why I am undoing the inaccuracies.
Stuff is getting real. Flare works perfectly. Here is an example of a results screen played with Flare.

I think you should open a thread about your StepMania fork. I've been struggling to replicate the DDR experience with Stepmania and it's forks (OutFox and ITGmania). Your fork may be the solution.

Yeah, replace the program folder of your Stepmania 5.1 installation (not 5.0.12, that doesn't work!)
