That's a shame about the steps. The chart actually gets decent after those freezes, but that part just really kills it for me.

While he's here, I'd like to say very nice retouch on deltaMAX. I love it.
I'd be interested to see your steps as well, hopefully it'll be the first iteration of steps for the song I've liked.
EDIT: Actually, we should have a deltaMAX re-stepping competition.

Agree. It might be me, but Delta Max looks to be at the level as Max 300 & LOM.I think it's harder, but if they REALLY wanted it to be hard, I've made a challenge edit... Here's the deal with DeltaMAX.
When the final version of the song was given to Konami, I was asked whether I wanted to write steps for any of my songs. I asked to work on aftershock!! and DeltaMAX. They said that there may be a few revisions here or there, and that seemed fine. aftershock!!'s steps are mostly my own, with only a couple of small edits being made (like that there wasn't a freeze during the tempo stop.) These edits were just fine.
With DeltaMAX, Ryan (DukAmok) decided that he didn't like pretty much any of my charts and instead wanted to take the chart in a "different" direction. I very much disagreed with him on this, as when I saw his chart (the one in the game), it seemed that just about everything was wrong with it. However, he was pretty much the one with the decision making power and not me.
I'm very unhappy with the chart in the game . . . I feel like it basically ruined the song.
I do still have the steps that I made, actually. If you guys would like, I'll upload them and link to them here. I forget the difficulties on Double, but on Single it's Beginner 4, Light 8, Standard 9, Heavy 10, Oni 12 (since recent DDR bosses have been going in the range of ItG 12's nowadays.) Heavy is mostly the same in the beginning, with a few slight changes, and then with much less bullshit after 300 bpm (no stupid doublesteps, and none of the Faxx jumpstepstepjumpstepstepping at around 350ish.) Oni is . . . well . . . hard. It was planned to be the next step up in boss-ish-ness.
So what do you guys think...? Do you guys want to see the steps I originally submitted?
Oh, I wanna challenge you for the Oni steps!! MUWAHAHAHA!!!

Oni is definatly pretty crazy. Eighth note triples in the 500s...
Awesome steps for the song. I could see why Konami would think that the Oni chart, while awesome, is kind of over the top for an Xbox release though.

I havent really gotten to play much at all. I played a couple songs for favors, but I havent really played for myself yet, Im on vacation and the TVs suck where I am. None of them can handle the 360 and the arrows are really small.

Shoulda had Ashura's Heavy with Dukamok's Heavy. Always have a normal chart if you're experimenting!
