I ranted about it already so I'll take my leave but I will say that the review is crap. There are many things the reviewer fails to highlight and in addition, there are many things that simply aren't correct. The review sucks. This is why I don't let reviews impact my decision.

So, this game is really, really fun. The song list is great, and some of the steps are really fun as well. I also like how they brought back NAOKI and U1 as dancers, and made jun a dancers. Speaking of U1, does anyone know the proper pronunciation of that because when I highlight him on the character select menu, the announcer says something really weird. It kinda sounds like he trying to say "Luigi", but I really have no idea what he's trying to say.

It's pronounced Yuu-ichi. If you don't know what "ichi" is, you shouldn't be playing imported games.

I just got the game! IT'S SO MUCH FUN!

So far, I've unlocked 3 songs (one song was Super Hero as a boss stage) in a matter of 10 minutes lol

The charts for Dreamin' and Tootsee Roll are really, really, fun. I love playing them!

UPDATE: I'm now missing Reach The Sky (orbit1 remix), STAY (Joey Riot remix), and osaka evovled. I have to say it was much easier unlocking things this time around

I think Konami left the dance play bug in this version just to piss off people who use 3rd party pads and like getting full combos. It seriously bugs me every time I get a good or worse because of that stupid thing. I'm going to stick some thin wood under the two lower corners so that it won't happen as often. I'll still be hitting the upper corners when I do up arrow crossovers, but I can't get away with disabling those two as well.

Actually, it is that bad, because I prefer a pad with a bit more weight to it that is less likely to move a foot or rotate 30 degrees while I'm playing a song. And I'm more accustomed to the thwack of my feet hitting a hard pad, though that isn't as important to me.
I spent my first 5 months playing on soft pads, and I got sick of it trying to complete the full combo missions in SN1 and the AAA missions in Ex2, because the way the surface of the pad stretched would cause it to not read steps correctly, depending on where I was standing when I performed the step. When I switched to hard pads, I went from failing 9s to getting Bs, then getting As, within a week. Gee, I wonder why.

I believe so, since the dancers' name is "U1" and the number is actually pronounced as "ichi", so yeah.

Don't know if any of you guys noticed this, but if you play a song other than the Terra song, on the Terra stage, the background videos are Max 2- Extreme videos! :O
