So to be able to keep record it has to be online? Dawww... Confused

The machine will record high scores, but nothing on a personal level.

Without e-amuse set on, it won't record anything, right?

And any machine can has it's e-amuse on? If yes, I want that X machine has it's e-amuse on... Tongue

Well no. Your arcade needs to sign up with Konami for the e-AMUSEMENT service to get it. They need to pay Konami for it.

If your arcade is not willing to pay the monthly fees, then you'll be stuck with LOCAL MODE. X2 comes with the e-AMUSE parts, it's just the service the arcade needs to buy.

That's exactly what I'm getting at, I just want local mode, which records machine high-scores. Because personally, I think the service isn't cheap ($50 wasn't it?) the arcade wouldn't want to pay anyway. The e-AMUSE parts (the card slot and numpad) is already there anyway. Even the SN and SN2 machines have it.

EX SCORE is apparently in the game.

In the e-AMUSEMENT keypad, you have to jot in 3750 at MODE SELECT and 1P/2P USE EX SCORE will appear on the screen. EX SCORE will appear below your judgement. To turn it off, enter the command at MODE SELECT again.

MARVELOUS - 3pts
PERFECT - 2pts
GREAT - 1pt
GOOD or under - 0pts

If EVENT MODE is on, do the same thing but jot in 0573 instead. To turn it off, enter the command at MODE SELECT again and hold the TEST button.

Scores will continue to be saved in it's original format regardless if this score display is used.
I somehow couldn't activate the EX SCORE. Maybe it's meant for Japanese version? Need confirmation from Dr.D I guess...

It's only available on X cabinets, not the standard cabinet. Sorry, I should've mentioned that.

Strange that it requires an X machine for it to work. Not sure what would be unique about the machine other than they want to roll out features only available on newer machines to boost sales

We asked about the availability of the service, but no answer is given. USD 50 can be paid for medium-big game stores (we have 2 cabinets here, and we can pay for both. The prize of ea-pass can help a lot to support this.)

eAMUSE parts, are the card reader and the key pad. or the dedicated router is included?

someone has checked if the key codes work for US/EU versions?

It hasn't even been released in those regions. And I doubt it would work on a test cabinet.

Is it just the timing on the pic or are the AAA's really upside down?

Those are two seperate pictures. The bottom one just shows the reflection of the grade. I think.

I am aware there are two separate photos but it still looks weird in the second pic.

In case anyone has wanted to know the differences between Bag Expert and Bag Challenge check this out.

I've watched that video, like, five times, and I still don't quite get what the difference is between the Expert and Challenge charts. .__.
