But let's wait until ATomik unlocks everything before we mail the game back to Konami with a pile of crap. Remember that "smaller-than-atom" hope that it isn't the same as SN2 NA CS I was talking about? It could happen.
Then we all die. But it could happen.

Why is it that when we were finally getting somewhere with Max, which was a kickass game with solid licences and a good selection of KO's, things seem to have dropped into extreme crappiness?
Konami cooks up this 'universal game' idea and we get the first and buggy versions of SuperNOVA AC, no SuperNOVA2 AC at all full stop, SuperNOVA CS with ten rather marmite-y licences and finally a vastly delayed SuperNOVA 2 CS with one measly added licence, plus a vague European one at that.
I'm sorry but the question must be raised: Konami what the fuck did we Europeans do to deserve this?

We got SN1 AC first. That's all I can think of. Also, we got All the Things She Said, and that was a damn good licence and you know it!
And again, the irony of the first sign of SN2 being released last.

I didn't mind it as it is most definitely a solid licence. It's strong lesbian tones made me feel that it was an odd song to put in a game marketed to anyone from the age of 3+ though, even if the re-cut video had moments like the kissing mostly removed. It's BPM leads something to be desired though...Seriously though, I couldn't give a damn about exclusives if it meant we could get what the Americans had months (years?) ago but with a much shorter delay. Copying the exact same songlist, adding a couple of translations and changing the box art would take what, a few months at best?

Play it with the lyrics on. THAT's a doozy for a 3+ game! Also, I liked the BPM of 90. At least it wasn't at 180, as it's not really a fast song.Quote

I'd say a month at the most.Post #446 · Posted at 2008-09-26 10:17:20pm 16.8 years ago

Hmm I am really sorry FELMDemon. In fact, when I got the game, I sent a file to Alan that allowed him to view the entire song list. Then you might be waiting for nothing else...
Sorry again

If you find a Konami representative, can you shove the disc up their arse? Thank you.

So... it's time to mail the disc back to Konami with a pile of crap?
I think KE was trying to bank on people being stupid so they wouldn't figure out that the game they got + 1 license - a bunch of other licenses came out a year ago in NA.
Just think. There's going to be a very small margin of blissfully unaware DDR players in Europe who receive the game with glee. I'm scared.

@ Oni-91 : It might deteriorate our relations XD No seriously, I already called a membre of Konami staff and told him why DS SN2 is a disaster.
At the moment, I ask myself if konami is working on DDR X eu version. Start I've got the info, I'll warn Alan

Well... does Cara Mia's chart look okay?
I can see the DS SuperNOVA2 simfile folder already.
1 Song.
Wowowowowowow. Once that thing gets simmed, I'm going to stick 800+ arrows in it and e-mail it to Konami Europe. At least the banner that Lord Toon made for it looks cool.

I already knew that, and it's pretty funny considering they used the radio edit of the song but forgot about the lyrics.Quote

I'd be careful. If Konami catch on to Stepmania too much they may sue if they realise there are simfile artists more talented than their development teams.1 Song.

Gah I just had to switch off PS2 without saving didn't I?
Seems like they added ALICE and JULIO as well, but still doesn't warrant the wait.

Does the game run on the SN2 engine (marvelous only explosions and extra stage system) or is running on SN1 like the US version?

To Xavious, look at my post at page 22 (and add DS Party Edition to that).
I'm very curious to know, how much is it (European currency) and it's equivalent to US dollars?
I can see it coming now (what I said in my post).
<ignore>
"The Dancing Stage series, although lacking in the amount of songs when it migrated to PS2 had some "gems" in it, like lyrics display, 5th mix style foot-rating display and a set of licenses NOT from dancemania (as is on the Japanese (JAP) and American (USA) versions of DDR) but by popular European artists like Kylie Minogue, Sugababes, and STEPS. It is interesting to note that none of these licenses ever appear on the JAP or USA versions of DDR except for "Wannabe" by the "Spice Girls" which was included in the Japan-only release of DDR Party Collection."
</ignore>
I don't even know why I wrote that. But I can definitely say that DS Supernova2 doesn't have the "gems" that was always part of the Dancing Stage series (Kylie songs, etc.). Not to mention that a lot of songs are yet to be included on future Dancing Stage titles.

ES system is exactly the same as NA version. No recover on ES and one life on EES.

Anyone has the complete courses information (song list in each course difficulty)? I knew al2k4 can't do it since he didn't save the data
...
