Really hard voting this week because both files were really good, I loved 罪と罰 but I just felt like compared to Dignity a bit more could've been done to the steps.

ACID VISION was alright I guess, but I wasn't really crazy about the BPM gimmicks. I don't think the song ever needed to slow down as much as it did in some parts (the beginning especially feels like I'm trying to time the first note of OTP), and the 12ths/24ths on the stops felt off-beat.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't really see the point in the Wadatsumi footswitches in Sylvan Fairy's Dance other than "just to be fancy". You could have just as easily broken the hold where the 8th note is and then start another hold on the down arrow, right after the 16th note, and it would have played the same and not be so visually confusing. Just a personal gripe I have. It's still a fun file though, don't get me wrong.

I understand what you mean, I just used it so I could maintain the freeze and have the 16ths. I wish there was another way I could do all of that but footswitches were the only way to go without having to have a break (I just love my freeze arrows lol), plus with the break one thing that irked me is that I would have two consecutive down freeze arrows which probably wouldnt mean much to others but idk why it bothered me a bit just visually.

Man, that matchup between hawke and t7r is/was a toughie :/


I tried giving it more of a boss feel with the BPM gimmicks (almost typed moss feel, ew), the beginning was meant to build up to the impending challenge (on all levels, even ), and then the other slowdowns were the small breaks. The 24ths on the stops are actually 'on-beat', that i'm certain of. I'm also certain looking back on it that those 24th jumps were a terrible idea and I have no idea what I was thinking.

It's definitely not my best file, that much I know

Well damn, Scarz certainly kicked my ass there. Was fun while it lasted, furthest i've made it in TOI so i'm pretty satisfied, didn't think i'd get this far honestly. Hopefully I can make some stuff for summer.

The finals is Silverhawke VS Scarz. However since Silverhawke has already won the doubles bracket. These two will be the two mods for Summer Contest 2015! This match is mostly for bragging rights, or deciding the order they want to go when SC2015 starts, however you both decide it.

By the way Silverhawke, considering you rushed Caliburne it came out really damn good, I honestly wouldn't have guessed it was rushed at all! It's a shame you didn't finish the Challenge chart but at least you passed OTP. (Congrats on that, by the way!)

The amount of quality you put up consistently each round is amazing. I can't really find any major flaws with this file (other than the /edit chart, but that's beside the point).

The individual charts are solid, although they nevertheless felt too repetitive for me, probably because some sections have been copy+pasted across every difficulty with minor changes. The charts are still very fun, though, and they put up a really good fight for this final matchup.

I played all charts of both songs and I was impressed. But Silverhawke's file seemed to be more fun to play. Also Scarz's file seemed to repeat the same patterns throughout the charts. Anyway, I look forward to seeing you in Summer Contest 2015!
