DDR HP3 / DDR MUSIC FIT (Wii) (International)

I like the addition of the balance board and remote and nunchuk controls but I'd like the core of the game to be upgraded too. It would be nice to see something to the level of Guitar Hero on the Wii with tighter world-wide release dates, a better gameplay engine and proper DLC.

I suppose I just really DO want "Dance Hero"...

It seems like Hottest Party 3 is finally at video game stores around me, months later. Also got a redesign on the box covers, has a EU touch now Pic

Incidentally what DID become of this? Or do I know as much as everyone else does?

UK Charts:

DDR HP3 has risen 8 places from 34 to 26.
DDR HP2 has also risen two places from 39 to 37.

Going quite well.

It was all just speculation I believe, based upon Activision seeming to licence so many music and rhythm games. Kind of wish it were true now...


Which is a bit of a shame really as the song choices were generally better overall even if HP2 had a slightly better gameplay engine.

Dancing Stage HOTTEST PARTY came #26 in the first week, disappeared off the Wii charts for the next week, came back at #26 for the 3rd then disappeared forever.

So there we are. HP3 is as good as, maybe better than HP1, we don't know, it hasn't been time yet.

And as brilliantly found by Al, a crappy review from NGamer:

"It's the same DDR as it ever was, but the inclusion of even more gimmicks just waters it down rather an improves it. Hard to recommend." 66%

Because they TOTALLY WEREN'T in Hottest Party 1 or 2, right? RIGHT?

That said, it looks like the reviews are all 60s-70s, which is in the 'decent' area, I'd say.
