"Two milkmen go comedy"
I agree, though using 'coincidental' licenses is somewhat similar, in my opinion. It would also be interesting to feature a collaboration of some sort. (smile.dk comes to mind, given their relatively recent album.)

New "site" update...?

It could really be anything, but now would be a fabulous time to show me some new dancer costumes and/or profiles. >u> Least I don't have long to build up false hope.

Man instead of just revivals how about step some of the songs on that album that have never been in DDR?

They won't do this, but I'd love it. They could capitalize on name recognition by throwing on songs from the same artists, even. Lots of great, untapped options, Dancemania X9 remains one of the tightest mixes of all time to this day.

Seems there's a delay on the latest anniversary update.

https://p.eagate.573.jp/game/ddr/20th/

Should be any minute now though.

I found it weird that both the DDR A OST and the 20th Anniversary Megamix Non-Stop Mix will be released through EXIT TUNES rather than Konami Amusement themselves like they always do...

They released the OST and the Nonstop Megamix in both sites, just like the IIDX Rootage OST (btw, i linked the konamistyle site)

EDIT: Just to note, the 20th anniversary page is still showing the 1 day left, so maybe they didn't plan to announce the OST here (or maybe they will add it in some hour of the day)

No, as in the releases are part of EXIT TUNES' catalogs and not Konami's.

OST: QWCE-90019
Non-Stop Mix: QWCE-90020

For reference, here's the catalog number for the X3 OST: LC2137-38

If I'm not mistaken, this might be the first time since the Dancemania era that a full OST of a BEMANI game was released by someone other than Konami.

Oh, that's true, my bad. I've seen the catalog for the IIDX Rootage and you are right, it has a different code. Maybe the'll doing this just for license issues, specially for the Nonstop Megamix

Final 2 slots on the 20Th Anniversary site are the OST and nonstop megamix. It's officially a wrap with the Coming Soon tiles.

They should just get rights to Butterfly if they're gonna revive it every other game.

both albums have licenses in them (specifically, DDR A's 2nd Disc has nearly all the Japanese licenses listed and alot are exit tune if not most) so that's probably why Konami isn't releasing it by themselves and must've been a reason for the wait
but anyways ez do dance is the big surprise for me bc idk if it was a popular license for X2 especially Japanese audiences but dj Koo (who is a TRF member) is mixing the megamix so explains alot plus YEET that means we might get non-dancemania licenses revivals too (especially excited for X2 license revivals)
also butterfly isn't made for konami and also i don't think that's not how licensing works whoever holds the right to that song must be able to share it or become defunct but i digress lol
