I like the name. I wish it was called that in America too. The logo for "New Moves" is cool in how it's surrounded by the PSMove waves of light. I'll be importing this so that I can get it's trophies.

I love that they didn't even try on the logo. That font is hideous.

Someone is questioning the scoring system in this game, so I guess I'll share my findings.
Correct me if something's wrong.
~For the Play Score~
As you can see, there are 3 scores shown on the results screen: Play, Bonus and Total Score.
The scoring system for Play Score is nearly the same as the original (arcade SN ~ X2) series, but with a few differences:
1. All jumps now count as 2 separate arrows, each with their own judges and scores.
(So now there's a chance that when performing a jump , you might get Great on one foot and Perfect on another)
2. Since there are no Marvs, Perfects will earn you full credits (just like SN1).
3. No OK counters on the results screen; OKs on Freeze Arrows will add to your Perfect count (and your combo).
Also, the scores for OKs is 50% of those for Perfects.
Let's take Flowers (Exp; 348 notes, 30 jumps and 1 freeze) as an example:
1. Jumps count as 2 separate arrows, so the total number of notes is 348 + 30 = 378
2. OKs will add to Perfects, so the Max Combo for Flowers in this game will be 378 + 1 = 379
3. Next, we'll calculate a divisor for Flowers by this formula: divisor = (notes * 2) + freezes
So the divisor for Flowers will be (378 * 2) + 1 = 757
4. The Max (PFC) Play Score is 1M, so we will divide this by our divisor: 1000000 / 757 ~= 1321
So each Perfect on Flowers will earn you 1321 * 2 = 2642, and each OK will be 1321.
I haven't checked for Greats and below yet, sorry.
~For the Chain Arrows~
For a single section of Chain Arrows, if you chained all the arrows,
you will earn a bonus which is nearly equivalent to the Play Score you earned in that section.
Let's go back to the Flowers example: each Perfect will earn you 2462 in Play Score,
but if the Perfect was from a Chain Arrow, you will also get +2460 (maybe the number was rounded?) as a Bonus.
This 2460 Bonus will add to the Bonus Counter (the large counter shown in the middle of the screen)
and - if you complete the chain - to your Bonus Score.
By the way, Freezes do not count as a part of Chain Arrows, so you won't get any Bonuses for OKs
(however, you are required to get all the OKs to complete the Chain).
~For the Groove Trigger~
You will get a Bonus of 10000 every time you activate the Groove Trigger;
after that, all scores you earned (Perfects, OKs, etc.) during the Groove Trigger period will be (nearly) doubled.
The scoring system for Groove Trigger is similar to Chain Arrows, with the following differences:
1. You don't need to FC the entire section to get the Bonus.
2. You won't get any Bonus for starting a Chain, but you'll get 10000 for each Groove Trigger activation
(even at the end of the song)
Note that you can earn both Chain Arrow and Groove Trigger Bonuses at the same time
(Both bonuses share the same Bonus Counter, but if you look closely,
you will see that the Bonuses from different sources were added up)
~For the Ranking System~
Your final rank depends on the Play Score (not Total Score) you got:
Over 975000 : AAA
925000 ~ 974999 : AA
850000? ~ 924999 : A
? ~ 849999? : B
Lower than ? : C
Failed : D
Note that in your records, "high rank (FC)" and "high score" are updated individually:
if you got a new high score, "New record!" will show up below your Total Score (regardless of your rank),
and if you got a higher rank, "New record!" will show up above your rank (regardless of your score).
Correct me if something's wrong.

Move your body with DanceDanceRevolution New Moves
KONAMI details first PlayStation®3 DDR title – complete with PlayStation®Move compatibility
Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH today announced it will release DanceDanceRevolution New Moves across Europe in March 2011. The new release marks the classic series’ debut for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, and showcases extended full-body movement via Sony’s new PlayStation®Move motion controllers. DanceDanceRevolution New Moves features over 50 tracks, ranging from popular hits to classic dance anthems for players of all ages with enhanced multiplayer capabilities.
DanceDanceRevolution New Moves offers a new mode has been implemented where users will be able to dance using both the DDR Dance Mat controller and the Playstation®Move together. Users move both their upper and lower body as they dance to match the indicators displayed on screen. As they use the Dance Mat controller to mimic the on-screen arrows, the player also holds the PlayStation®Move Motion controller, which is represented by a ball of light on screen and must be guided towards the relevant moving arrows.
The PlayStation®Move Motion controller is also used to vary on-screen visuals with combinations of button presses and movement used to add visual effects to the on-screen action. This creates a striking aesthetic interpretation of the player’s dances, and players can also see themselves in action using the PlayStation®Eye and upload their greatest hits to social networking sites via the console’s XMB™ (XrossMediaBar) menu to share their DanceDanceRevolution skills with friends.
DanceDanceRevolution New Moves adds new game modes to the series. In ‘Dance Off’ Mode, two to four players take turns running through the same dance. The player that is able to keep in step more accurately will earn more points and be crowned the winner. In ‘Club’ Mode – which has been specifically created for die-hard DanceDanceRevolution fans – gamers can play over and over again in a marathon session. The difficulty level of the tracks will change along with the dances the players are challenged to match, as they get further and further into the session. As an added obstacle, various tricks will also come into play. Gamers will be able to play from four to 20 tracks in succession depending on their skill level.
DanceDanceRevolution New Moves will be available in March at retailers, bundled with a dance mat controller.

what?? do people hate on EU releases just for the sake of hating on them? i mean, they're never spectacular, they haven't been for years, but come on, there is nothing wrong with that font. It suits it better than most other fonts they probably could've chose.and as far as boxart goes for EU releases, this one isn't that unpleasant on the eyes. In fact, apart from those two monkeys above the DDR logo, i dare say it's really not that bad.
there is a myriad of other, more important things to be complaining about, other than the font used for the new subtitle. most of which were already discussed after the NA version came out. i just find it boring to read threads which contain post after post of complaining about these pointless things.
