it would LOOK so much better if it wasnt for all those silly undroppable freeze arrows in it, seems about right in terms of a chart though if you could play it with the freeze arrows turned off

also as 3rd hasnt been discovered yet heres my thoughts:

3rd mix removed roulette, bought nonstop back however neither of those would really have an effect on DDR X into getting an extra stage, 3rd mix had doubles heavy and was the first "Numbered" mix to have 9 footers (club append being the true first mix unless that came out after 3rd) but anyway

9 footers
1x vivid
shuffle was new to 3rd
first real mix to have crossovers from other games too (the character you chose influenced your songlist) so Gradiusic Cyber/Jam Jam raggae AMD Mix (if its still there), whatever else is in that area

my suggestion:
1x vivid on a 9, a crossover (if there are any still there) and 1x shuffle on anything else. I dont know if you have to get it right on the 3rd stage or if you can do it on any stage (Im guessing its the latter as i saw the picture where hysteria was song 2 but that unlocked the 4th mix ones)

WTF??? I'm enjoy level 48 and i have like 44,000 points and i'm nowhere on the ranking page, am i missing something?

I've tried something with my friend, & it works for the 4th Mix

1st Stage: Paranoia Evolution Expert
2nd Stage: Drop Out Expert
Final Stage: On The Break Expert

Me: Yuni character, Speed x1, Rainbow, Classic note skin.
My friend: Jenny character, Speed x1.5, Rainbow, normal note skin (he haven't unlocked the Classic note skin)

Hope it will still help you guys.. (I'm not sure with the Speed setting thou)

If speed is the issue (and regardless, that pattern is *still* the classic Butterfly spin), then I give you Healing Vision ~Angelic Mix~ from DDRMAX2 (8th notes at 196bpm, spins at the starting streams).

Yes, but Max 300 is doing spins with 8th notes at 300 BPM, which is 16ths at 150BPM, which is crazy hard to get, on top of that, everything else this song throws at you. By the way, HVAM started on 6th mix (for AC, 5th for CS). I agree it is the classic Butterly fly spin, just like left down right left up down (or any combination of the such) is the Afronova walk, no matter where it appears.

One idea I just had for 3rd mix is try AA'ing edit data then choosing random for the final stage, or maybe edit data for the entire game, or something to do with edit data. 3rd mix was the first mix that had edit data for the arcade, right? This would explain why no body is getting 3rd mix X-Specials if they're ignore edit data during their quest for it. Or maybe play a home version song (step edits came from home versions anyway, right?)

I've known about Luv To Me's renaming for a while, but I didn't know about the Club Version having the 9-foot rating, since I started playing on a 4th mix. See, I learn something new every day...

Ok, i declare that 4th Mix has been confirmed.
Yuni or Jenny is a must, Rainbow & Classic note skin is a must too. I tried Superstar on 2nd Stage (Played a SN1 song on 1st stage) & then Random for final stage, i could still get TMC. I think it's pretty easy to get it now

I'm still confused for the 2nd Mix thou.

I've also tried both Superstar version, & i got both Maxx Unlimited & TMC on my Extra Stage.

i'm not sure if you're telling me i'm wrong, but...

club version has gentle stress, 3rd mix has gentle stress AMD sexual mix
club version has grad cyber, 3rd mix has grad cyber AMD G5 mix
club version has luv to me, 3rd version has luv to me AMD remix


just pointing out that maniac double was ONLY available in SSR mode, IE only 3rd mix songs had it. maybe someone can do something with that.

also, vivid was available in club version, and remixes arent crossovers.

Many people have been saying that playing a Solo song nets you 4th mix X-Specials. You played Superstar, a Solo song.

I found that out on one of my last rounds that night. I was so angry all night and got even more mad when I saw my friend unlocked it doing the EXACT same thing as me. In anger and hopefulness I decided to play next round with him and told myself I'd copy every option he had. when we got to character select i said wait! and he confirmed that yuni was an original 4th mix character so I picked her and it work! It worked every time after that.

after that just pick one solo song and play it 1x rainbow

ddr_ray: it is NOT necessary to put the skin on classic and also you can play on the break final or random. this is what i can confirm. I dont post that unless I can guarantee something every time.
