Just tilt the highway down a bit and make the arrows 3D. It's not like they didn't absorb the rights to do that.

Strike was basically Ultramix 2 with Extreme 2's licenses and interface. It also didn't have as many songs.

this would be so bad ass if true. its actually a huge chunk of UM2 KOs and crossovers, all the NEW EX2 KOs and crossovers, some EU licenses japan hadn't seen yet, a couple new licenses, iFUTURELIST and DoLL. unfortunately, unlike festival, strike didnt include any DLC from the UM series. this leaves a lot of awesome songs left to rot in obscurity as a weird remix only available on the classic x-box for those who got it before XBL was discontinued for classic games (sup, i feel... junk circuit remix).

its a great game, but it doesnt quite live up to the description you gave. then again, what could?

Also, unfortunately, the mix Stillwind was involved with (DDR X) was IMO the worst mix in a while, if not forever, and he gave us nothing we wanted. We got all new artists who were all mostly terrible.

SuperNOVA, SuperNOVA 2, DDRX and DDR X2 are identical to the japanese versions except for the menu text, and some of the graphics that have text on them o.O

There must be a mis-understanding. I'm talking about song content. As far as that goes, they are all almost completely different games accept for X JP and X US, which were, again song wise, almost identical.

The song lists are identical in all regions, except for Beutiful Life?

That's correct. Where are you getting the idea that there were different songs in each region?

Since we were talking about Ultramixes/Strike/Extreme2 he was obviously talking about the CS releases D:

Tyma's right in that the last four arcade releases have been nearly dead on to the Japanese releases. With notable faults such as no practical application of eAmuse outside of Asia. But AceJay is also right about the console releases. DDR X was the only one that came close and there was a good handful of song differences anyways, and not truly a global console release.

It's great that the arcades are now syncing up with each other. But America is a big country and not everyone has access to an arcade or an arcade with the latest DDR game. It would also be nice if Konami saw the benefit of having global console releases as well.

Don't worry, the site that shall not be named has a backup of all the original XBox DLC and we will always have simfiles.

Did anyone notice that the beginning of Let's Get Away sounds exactly the same as Ao No Tayio from Kanako Hoshino?

I recognized it as soon as I heard Let's Get Away, but I couldn't remember what song it was until my MP3 player gave me the answer the other day Smile

simfiles are cool and all, but they lack certain things. no one that gets an xbox and UM2-4 NOW will be able to play outer limits quad for example.

and whats this site that has classic xbox DLC backed up? are we talking about a bemani site that has the UM content or a huge site with all of it?

Catherine's Diary has been updated with "About Club Mode". I don't know if this has already been posted, but it was probably lost with all of these posts about songlists.

Music was also updated.

"On ZiV I'm like Princess Diana"
Catherine's Diary

December 27th, 2010:

Dear Diary,

Today I found this website where a large portion of the userbase seemed to be making fun of my diary. Every new entry seemed to bring more and more laughter to them. Jokes about some of my comments, jokes about my passion for PS3 DDR, even jokes about how I look. Many of the users went so far as to change some of their avatars to photoshopped pictures of me. I've never felt worse in my entire life. Shortly after finding the website, I sat in a cold shower and cried while I slashed my wrists and pulled out large chunks of my hair. I just swallowed all of the pills in the medicine cabinet and have begun vomiting blood. My death is now mere minutes away and I am saying goodbye to this cruel, dark, and lonely world. I hope you assholes are happy.

-Catherine

P.S. Next time I'll teach you about Training Mode!
