The song would be ruined if the announcer was on.

Considering pop'n 18's treatment of GOLD RUSH, this had to happen. I had been expecting a separate DDR-styles version as well but I'm rather surprised at the inclusion of DDR CS versions too as a separate version. A must-play for this mix indeed.

Unlocking method is interesting though tedious. Its a 12 tile memory matching game. Every round you can select 2 tiles. If they match then you can unveil that part of the picture. Everyone seems to have a different mix in placement and there seems to be a total of 6 pictures to unlock things with only 3 giving a new song.
Sorry if that all has already been mentioned, I have pics and videos of how the unlocking system works and will post later.

Oh...yes.

Surprised to see three versions of GOLD RUSH in there, VERY surprised that for the CS version they stopped at MUSIC FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT, which makes me wonder, DDR X JP CS didn't count or something? same for SuperNOVA JP and SuperNOVA 2 JP? :/

Konami's DDR canon is weird :{
Each new Japanese release is a new "Generation" of DDR. That generation will usually consist of an arcade game, and then a Japanese CS game based on the arcade game, an American PS2 game and an American Xbox game. The generations usually share a lot of songs, although the American games sometime fall between generations, so for example, the 8th generation US CS game will contain a few 9th generation songs.
In each Generation, one game will typically be the "main" game, that all the money went into developing and marketting. Other games will borrow assets from this game.
The AC song lists the all the AC machines. 15 generations had JP AC releases.
The CS song lists generations that don't have AC machines (Festival, Party Collection and Strike). When Hottest Party came out in Japan, Konami switched the main CS platform of DDR from the PS2 to the Wii, so the last 3 generations are named by their Wii games, and not the PS2 games.
