Kinda interesting, don't remember any of the other song selections having a common connection like this. Would be nice if this and the unusual nature of this week's unlock compared to previous week's point towards us least getting a crossover, if not a new song entirely. Won't get my hopes too high though.

I'm not getting my hopes up either; after all, it is kors k's birthday and that's probably all the reason those songs were picked.

Yeah, Insane Techniques, Clione and heaven above are today's daily songs in PENDUAL, so the reason is actually kors k's birthday, nothing else (the same was done on the birthdays of Ryu☆, Sota and Nekomata).

Electronic or Trick by Pon from pop'n music Sengoku is coming to DDR as part of an event for the release of Pon's album
You'll have to play pop'n to unlock it though
Also, the stream hyped a bit the incoming song in Hills (it looks like it'll be the final one), but only a blurred jacket was shown so no idea what it is yet...

It's apparently only playable during 2 weeks though, so be careful

Finally some real new content to this game even though the only new song will only last around a few weeks. It's also a nice surprise they got a good PON song to crossover to the game too. Electronic or Treat! is one of my favorites from pop'n music 18.

idk why. maybe it's because they're picking up on the new content a tiny bit with the PON thing and the Venus song

This doesn't excuse them for giving a mountain of crap for content, but this is a good start.

Of course, I could speak too soon and Konami has something planned.
